I played it for two years before I started driving a real truck and it does in some ways such as learning to swing wide with a trailer, but the backing up not so much, you've gotta get in a real truck and do it. It won't help you with shifting gears and stuff like that either. But you could try Scania Truck Driving Simulator if you want something that is closest to the real thing in backing up and being in tight situations.

wow when i seen this video i got my G27 out and extended the shifter arm and made a custom stang for it and went trucken for 13hours non stop :D

@blade75964 I drive with a Logitech MOMO, it's a wheel and pedals. And yes I'm sure that wheel will work just fine, my buddy has an old P.O.S. wheel called like a rocket-fish or something and it's compatible with the game. So I'm sure yours will work. It is a really fun game when you get some good mods going to spice it up and makes it even closer to the real deal.

@caleb505 it's not a wheel I have sorry about that, its a logitech extreme 3D pro joystick. just not sure if I could use it for this game or not. Anyway what would you recommend me getting for this type of game. Thank you. And one with a stick shift would be really cool, and foot pedals with gas, brake, and cluch. Thank you.
