I played this game in first release in 2011 and played 18 wos haulin and 18 wos long haul and 18 wheels of steell pedal to the metal in 2008 and 18 wheels of steel across America in 2004 and now im play ETS2 AND AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR thanks you SCS software for all this amazing games

Really excited about this game. Just saw some new screenshots, map locations will be great. Just like ETS, you unlock new areas...really cool! I hope it will be easy to mod.

I just received x-treme trucker last night. Overall.... i like it. I would like to recommend to the author to increase its complexity. Each truck needs a check-ride to follow in their start up. Support for TRACK-IR & click-able buttons in the virtual cockpit, like flight simulator 2004. It could easily be a truck simulation. Which is what I would like to see.

i think it should have been more like 18 wheels of steel american longhaul because of an handy map. and the graphics of extreme trucker are good. and the gameplay of 18wos american longhaul is more my style

It's a good tool to use for learning how to drive a big rig and to park a trailer. For $20, it's a pretty good deal. I'm willing to pay $50 for a more robust simulation though. The Logitech g25 wheel can be used to simulate the clutch and shifting procedure. Starting on a hill, don't stall! Any way, you get my drift.

I dont know whats the new features in 18 WOS - ET, im gonna download the Trial right now (11M ~ 330 kb/s not the maximum but acceptable) if i like it like the other 18 WOS Games im gonna buy it after release of the Box version. SCS Software +5.

I FIXED IT! :) i switched it to direct x insted of opengl and i put the grafics on low works perfectly now!

he said it doesn't slow down, and if a truck is in a lower gear it WILL slow down if the accelerator is released!! Unless he is in a high gear and releases the gas and keeps going

is there police, hotels and gas stations also or it is different from haulin?

If i may correct, It has one big flaw, the physics! It doesn't feel like i would be driving a truck. It feels like hoovercraft. I've driven enough cars and trucks in any kind of weather to tell that this has so out-dated physics engine that i really can't recommend this to anyone else than kids. Although the idea is great, but this doesn't just work like it should.

I bought PTTM for $9. I like it better then Extreme. PTTM is more enjoyable to play. I hope the authors of this software give us a new version that looks as good as NFS:Shift with a physics engine that rocks! Make a DELUXE SIMULATION!!!!! WITH 18 GEARS AND A REALISTIC CLUTCH. I'm willing to pay $60 for premium software. Imagine connecting to a server and driving with others.....

Yeah that would be great, but imagine all the immature kids jumping on wanting only one thing, chaos and destruction, it would be like a destruction derby game, unless you also incorporate an enforcement, and have them arrest drivers for offenses such as driving on the wrong side of the road.

i dont think you drive a real truck or a car for that matter, if you dont press on breaks the car/truck will always move...

maybe something is wrong with your game >.> . If i dont press gas it slows down for me... dont know how to help you.
