Also agreed. Only ones that seem like they could pass for subtype Steel are Poison, Fire, Electric, Psychic, and Dark. Rest seem more like Fighting should be the subtype. Though Fighting could work for all of them as well, but Steel doesn't.

I think that has more to do with the original design of its body type, that looks like a fighter. Unless shin played more with it, I don't think it'd be that easy to not look like a sub fighting type

My personal theory is that Zeraora is a darwinian evolution of Lucario, becoming a sub-species of Lucario

You have an amazing skill, and on terms of typing and adding the art that complements the pokemon I think the DRAGON, ICE, ELECTRIC, GROUND AND ROCK where by far your most creative arts, amazing way to combine both types on lucario and also give them a notorious balance. please dedicate more to the rest and recreate them, blow you imagination. Really nice drawings 😉, just 2 things : it would be good to have 1 second on full view of your drawing before the comparison (combat + steel-> new type + steel) And... It's more looking like it keeps the combat type, not the steel one, but it's a pleasure to see your fanarts 😉

Such a fantastic job, I can see literally all of these being this iconic pokemon in place of lucario

Ground type lucario makes so much sense. I was always one of the peeps who thought lucario resembled anubis, so seeing lucario like a mummy definitely fits. Other than that, I think my personal favorites were the normal/steel and dark/steel ones.👍

Dark, Dragon and Fairy are my favourites. (Dark is the coolest looking/dragon is strongest looking/fairy is the cutest looking) Edit: Oh I just realised Ground type reminds me of Anubis. Holy shit that’s awesome.

All of them are duals, so Steel and Steel won't work. So they have to do Fighting and Steel, which means that you would get an ordinary Lucario.
