Igide (sp?) is a beast at blocking. Sky is ok, but inconsistent. The others aren’t that good.

Mahalo again for your great work again. Such a great game. Hawaii’s team do remind me of the Thai National team, small players yet dominating. Btw, Riko Okino is such a great Libero.

@@alexepic9993 Nebraska beat Hawaii in attendance a few years ago. They have over 250 consecutive sellout. Both crows are knowledgeable. Hawaii and Nebraska are my favs for the last 5 years.

I hope so too but I don't think we really need her anymore and her ankle is fucked up they keep downplaying in but she's done this is her 9th Injury on her ankle her body's telling her something

I think Hawaii should rest Jolie until the NCAA tournament because they dont need to risk it, it could get worse. She should recover and rest a little.

Great Game UH!! Speedy recovery to Jolie...everybody brings something to the team and jolie brought the energy!! Regardless of her 9th injury she worked hard to get on that court!! Jolie is a Junior and she only has a sprang. People need to get their story right before or trying to put people down. Especially when this girl worked hard and doesnt let anything bring her down for the love of volleyball cause if she did..she just might end up like people who likes to put negative comments on here cause they have nothing else to do with their life and dwell on pitty. Great game UH!! Keep pushing!!

The only thing I was saying was Hawaii always tries to put one player on a pedestal Jolene is a fantastic phenomenal player but we actually have a full team who are phenomenal players unfortunately this is her ninth injury on her ankle obviously her body's telling her she has weak ankles I wish nothing for the best for her and a fast recovery but Hawaii has to do without her at the moment she's not going to get better in the next few weeks it's going to take months and to be quite Frank I thought they did a fantastic job without her yeah she brings a whole bunch of spirit that's great but The Show Must Go On I don't think nobody's talking crap I'm just sick of Hawaii trying to put one member on a pedestal Van Sickle and a whole bunch of other people are stepping up their game

Reno Pona If Jolene ever makes it back on the court, she needs to wear those ankle braces that you slip over your foot and lace up. And she should wear it on BOTH ankles.

yeah Jolie brought energy! I think all the transfers (Jolie, Choi, Brook, and Hanawahine) brought a lot of energy. One thing I want all the wahine fans to do is watch Rika's facial expressions both on the court and with her peers on the sidelines. The freshman are also adopting the team uptempo spirit. There's a lot of this wahine team to like and appreciate!

Anna Mueller Ok, I couldn’t tell. I just said that because I’ve used different ankle braces and there are definitely ones that are better than others. The slip on and lace type that I’m referring to I believe stabilizes your foot better than the ones that are just velcro and don’t go as high.

OnceUponATime518 Alex Dont know about the women, but for the men’s team the UH athletic site has their schedule of every game. And in every away game there was a clickable link to the website that you could watch the livestream (usually the other team’s school athletic site). The same should hold true for the women’s schedule. I know a live stream isn’t desirable for most people, but it was the only thing I knew of as most KZread volleyball channels wouldn’t include Hawaii games. But if those other channels include those games, we’ll be set.

This was a phenomenal game to watch live got to attend but Hawaii really needs to stop focusing on one player sorry Jolene wasn't in and we still kicked ass I'm not trying to say we don't need Jolene but seems like they're doing fine without her and it doesn't seem like she's going to get better her ankle is messed up I feel like the commentaries last night was giving too much credit to UCLA saying that oh they're supposed to be better or Hawaii got lucky no Hawaii play better than them and every sets just because they're UCLA doesn't mean their top dogs are not even ranked they already lost three games now so stop trying to put Hawaii in this lower bracket they won they got the job done stop being negative commentaries

@@flomilli7123 it was pretty intense not This week she was about to hit a ball and the other player kicked her foot her foot when it went back down her ankle cracked this is her ninth and jury on her ankle so obviously she has weak ankles but she's one of our star players but yeah it doesn't look so great for her in the future to tell you the truth she's a senior so maybe her body's telling her something it was pretty traumatic to watch

they’re are not just focusing on jolie. if you haven’t seen the pre and post game show they talk about how the other players have stepped up and done a great job due to jolie’s absence. Also you’re right they may not need jolie but if they had jolie they’d be a more beast team than they’re now. Reason why Kanoa & Chris kept talking about her was bc she really was the spark plug of the team. She was a leader emotionally and led by example. We also all know ucla is a force and they didn’t play at their best. All credit to Hawaii bc they served tough and kept them out of system. We saw many many of times where the libero took the second ball for ucla. Finally I believe they’re not trying to put hawaii in a lower bracket. We got to take in mind those three losses of Ucla were to Nebraska, Baylor and now Hawaii. And we all know that Baylor is a force right now. Nebraska not so much they look a little a sloppy right now but it’s still early in the season. Stanford fan right here, but also a Hawaii fan since 2015 at nikki taylor’s prime. We all know Hawaii Women’s Vball is back and certainly a force to be reckon with.

OnceUponATime518 Alex I was worried that would be hurting without Jolene, but I’m glad that they are doing really well without her. No one person should be relied on to carry the team to victory, but she was their ace player who was able to score points when the rest of the team was struggling. I hope the wahine continue to play good and consistent like they did in this game (other than that tail end of the second set).
