Julie's office set-up would block the steps/door on a diesel pusher. Ours has a pull up tray for the co-pilot's chair and it reclines. The one change I can recommend is the mattress. We got one from Denver Mattress who asked us for the make and model and the one we got fit perfectly. We spent the extra $$ upfront for a higher end unit so we wouldn't need to upgrade much. Our front TV is on when cooking. We watch sports, weather, movies, and game shows, mostly on the one outside.

Hi Roy, yes you are right - Julie's office works as it's a gas coach with the door entry behind the seat. We actually did upgrade out mattress as well through Mattress Insider but we had already done a separate video about that, I guess we could have mentioned it again in here! Thanks for sharing your setup!

Very nice work and using some simple things to make it much more enjoyable! I like that Mark has put some more Fire Extinguishers around. I lost a Class A 2 yrs ago, and now, even today I have a good sized F.E. right next to my bed! Plus I keep several items close by, my keys, wallet, and money in my pants pocket . I got out with my cell phone, my laptop, and I was wearing a pair of crocks, shorts, and a short sleeve shirt . I was towing my Jeep, so I made sure to get that unhooked first, and by then it was too much to go back inside! Oh, by the way, make sure your insurance covers your contents! Lost all and no coverage. Love your RV. Enjoy and see you down the road! Rick

I love that you guys went against the grain and designed for yourselves, the people who actually live there. Too often in RV vlogger videos, people are obsessed with designing for hypothetical guests who are, at most, going to spend a couple of weeks in the RV. It makes no sense to me. People try to fit as many beds in their RVs as possible, even if only one or two people actually live in it. They compromise space and the opportunity to do what they want/need to do in their own home in order to show off how big their couch is and how many beds they have. It's bizarre. I plan to put in a couch and some bus seats for guests. Extra space is going to be used for my storage, my hobbies, and my convenience, in my own home. I'm not going to neglect my guests but I am going to be reasonable about amenities. I'm going to pattern the bus seats after Korean buses. There, the luxury ones fully recline and there's miniature entertainment systems in front. I think that's a good compromise between my needs and my guests' comfort.

I just love when you guys post a new video. I know it’s going to be fun and entertaining and educational! I truly love each and every upgrade that you have done. I especially love the dinette upgrade. I also love the bedroom ensemble. I was just looking on Pottery Barns Website this week and they carry a ensemble that’s so very similar to yours it’s called Sea Life Coastal Organic Duvet and shams. It does have a little more neutrals/browns which I absolutely love! I’m probably going to be ordering that set today! Quick question?? Was it very tricky removing the dinette table? And will you be able to reinstall it later should you need to? Wishing you both happy and safe travels... I’m always looking forward for the next update! Thanks for sharing

Hi Latada oh you are so kind! You will be pleased we have many more videos we are catching up on now so thanks for hanging in there with us! You know I didn't think 3 years later that duvet cover would even still be available on Pottery Barn but you are right - it is! This is it! www.potterybarn.com/products/sea-life-coastal-duvet-sham We love it! Also loved the dining area SO much more usable and enjoyable... and I put the link to the ottoman and table in the video description as well _ I got those from Overstock. While on Pottery Barn's website just now, I noticed they also have a sale this weekend so if you want to order use the code to grab a saving! The dinette table was not tricky at all to remove - just a lot of screws! Should be easy to re-install as well. Just store them safely in a zip lock bag and label it and keep in a safe place with the bracket so you don't lose when the time comes to re-install. Glad you enjoyed it! More on the way. Have a great day!

We have a 2011 34TGA. It has the same color wood as yours and up front it is about the same. We don't have the bunks so ours is about 3ft shorter than yours and our bath is split. Shower, sink and med. cab. on one side and the stool, another sink & med cab inclosed in a small room. Our bedroom tv is on the wall next to where you walk into the BR. Was interesting to see how your MH is compared to ours. Thanks for the tour.

Hello! So glad to have you back! Love what you have done with your RV. Lots of great ideas. We are a few months out from starting our adventure. We ordered our 2019 Tiffin 36 LA this week. Needless to say are very excited 😊. I have watched most of your videos and they’re so informative, I can’t thank you enough for doing so much research and sharing. We are going to purchase a Thousand Trails membership about six weeks out from delivery of our motorhome. We are still deciding if the new versus the resale is the best fit for us. Question? Did you all purchase the Trails Collection? If so, do you think is is worth the added expense. Happy trails 💕

Hi Janice, Glad you liked the mods and congrats on your new motorhome! Both new and resale TT memberships have their merits - if you haven't already, recommend you read our comprehensive article about this here. rvlove.com/2015/01/28/thousand-trails-membership-upgrades/ ALso this one talks about some of the New VS Used benefits which may help you (even though some of the info may be dated the pros and cons still stand) We also wrote about the Trails Collection here - and yes we think it's great value for the money and worth the extra $199 - you only need to use it one week in a year to get your money's worth! rvlove.com/2017/09/09/new-thousand-trails-collection-add-encore-rv-parks-to-your-membership - Good luck to you and shoot us a note if you have any questions! We removed the dinette from a brand new rv and put in a full table with 4 chairs and a bench. It all fits and can be used as a desk as well as using the bench for a table or footstool for the couch. There are two recliners but the couch is also a pull out bed so it doesn't recline.

I really like what you did! Those are super ideas except for the bedroom window, I would be concerned about moving anything to get out in case of emergency. A fire only gives you seconds to get out. I really like the the fire extinguisher above the bed. Thank you.

You are welcome! The voile curtains we added inside the bedroom window valance don't make any real difference in terms of safety or exiting in case of a fire. The bigger issue would always be pulling the blind up first. The fire extinguisher above the bed seems to be a popular one :)

Marc, Julie, Thanks for this informative content. When you were in the bathroom, I saw you have the same medicine cabinet as my 2007 Allegro. I don't know about yours, but my center door was screwed shut so you could not see what was behind it. The funny part is that the hinge for it is already there and working, it was just screwed to the other hinge so it would not open. I modified it and put a screw-on magnetic latch at the top. We don't watch much TV either. We will pop it on to follow storm coverage (hurricanes, tornadoes) if we are in the effected area. But mostly, it stays off. When I tell people that I don't watch TV, I've been asked "If you don't watch TV at night, what do you do?" Ummmm, I can think of a few things. 🤔

Television like anything can be either a help or a distraction. People said the same thing about books, Greek philosophers were offended by written language. TV has helped me and my life, I'd recommend you not knock things you don't do. People say living in an rv full time is unhealthy or dangerous or lazy, and it certainly could be. It's more about how you use it right?
