There are a lot more better channels for that, if you live in a apartment search for indoor garden, container garden etc. If you have you own garden then your options are only limited to where you live/the effort you want to give it.

Shes crossbreeding the tree. Which is an abomination according to the Bible.
@avalon5957
4 жыл бұрын
@@nashayah No, 5 minute craft is just making videos where 95% is false information... You *can't* "crossbreed" cherries and apples They are not in the same genus. It doesn't work like that. You can only graft different varieties of apples onto an other apple tree or pollinate them. Same goes for cherries. Just like you can't crossbreed a cat and a dog, neither. "Breeding" the trees would require pollination. But you can't pollinate an apple with cherry. Most fruit trees are grafted, as that makes sure that the same tasting fruit is produced each time, since the seeds of the fruits won't make the exact same tree and fruits. That's why all fruit trees like apples, cherries, lemons, pears, ect in gardens, farms and orchards are grafted. Many trees of the same variety are grafted with branches that comes from the same mother plant. If they *could* crossbreed, they already would've already done that many years ago by pollination as soon as an apple, pear or cherry were close enough for the bees to do their thing.

Wow, that’s kinda rare because some seeds are modified to only give one birth, then go infertile (my caveman brain summary) but, most seed sellers sell those so they can sell more seeds, and some growers actually prefer these seeds to keep demand up so that’s pretty cool ngl

I love plants 😊
I start my Avocado pits in a baggie (5-6 per baggie) with a slightly moistened paper towel. Seal well then put the baggie & pits in a kitchen cupboard/cabinet; preferably a bottom one that you don’t open too often. You can forget about it for weeks at a time. I check on mine every few weeks! I take the baggies out to see how they’re doing; root growth... and I check to see if I need to add a few more drops of water! Once you’re satisfied with the root growth plant in soil & grow like any other plant but keep in mind these become “trees”. They’re beautiful but keep in mind you need several, planted in a very large pot. I plant 4 pits several inches apart. To actually bear fruit they need to grow about 7 years but they’re beautiful. Great project to do with your children. Make memories with your little ones. Someday they’ll look back at those trees and they’ll teach their little ones and they’ll share the story! If you live in an area like mine where it snows in the winter you’ll want to keep them in pots; that’s why I suggest very large pots. If you live in a climate that’s warm, never freezes, you can put your Avocado Trees directly into your amended garden dirt.

I grow them with the kids now. I actually have two that need to be trans planted. But what does there have to be more then one pre pot? That's is the only part that confuses me. I do know once the tree stats to grow, they like lots of water..
