Thanks for posting this. It's just what I needed this morning. We lost my Dad, Bob Jones Jr, four months ago and we're here in Tennessee this week taking care of estate business. Missing my Popeye too (Bob Jones Sr). They're singing this morning for God with the rest of the saints that have gone before up.

Sorry to hear that. I grew up in southern California and saw the Songfellows many times. I loved how Ralph Dean would always have a local group or two open for one of the big quartets from the south. Ralph kept southern gospel music going for many years in southern California. The Songfellows and the Watchmen were my favorites of the local groups.
