Wyndham doesn't let you accumulate points infinitely since they expire 4 years after earning them.

I think that sucks ass...I have 121k pts expiring next year. Maxed out my transfer to Caesars already...don't know how else to keep em alive!

@@fulim226 I agree, it is a poor program. Someone who is actively earning points should not have to worry about them expiring. I believe they are the only major hotel loyalty program that does this.

Amex Platinum is like that coupon book from The Office that everyone thinks is worth $15,000

Wyndham Grand in Clearwater FL, gave me a presidential suite for the whole weekend (fri-mon) for free!!! Place is beautiful too.

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach is my favorite Wyndham property.

The Skypass select $200 travel credit applies to Airlines, Hotels and Rental Car companies fortunately!

I got the Wyndham business card last week. I applied as a sole prop, $10k income. Had to move some limit from my AA business card in order to get it, but I was all good with doing so. Wish I could get the personal card right now, though; I'm waiting to get under 5/24 to get the CIU

Do chase and us bank first. I regret being to aggressive with amex. The Gold goes up to 70K-90K SUB and the plat up to 100K-150K sub. If you’re willing to wait, a 90K SUB plus 150K SUB would be 240K after a year of waiting (and waiting for special offer on the Gold and then later on the special offer for the plat). Or you could get 175K now.

It won't matter since amex will just rescind the offer or just deny a bonus all together.

I dont think so, at least not officially, their terms say cannot be used with any other extension. But it depends on whether the systems can detect it. I have never tried, since I’m afraid of not getting the rewards from either

@@TheCreditShifu Can transfer 60,000 points from Wyndham to Caesars each year to reset the counter on those points. You can transfer 1:1 both directions, but I'm not sure if it's 60,000 points each way or 60,000 points total.
