Yeah that is a very good idea to explore in a future video. Not sure if I can have enough data in time for the next episode but I am definitely interested in this.

Would it help shaping the garden to have a nature slope to something like a drain where the excess water can get collected? So instead of pooling around the plants it would naturally move downwards?

Yeah the plan is to use a combination of slope and loose soil in the elevated bits. The water-hungry plants will have to go at the base of the slope so they have more chances of getting water.
