    I would like to see sheath(s) for the knives or boxes that organize the sets of knives that make selection them as well as safety transport to job sites. Agree knife are great tools and they needs a safe place and transportation needs. I'm trying to absorb. But that O ring model is my first favorite to make. Some great methods and I think that O ring model is looking most handy and one of the more easily to provide. Thanks 👍

    Hi zed. I have been following your outdoor adventure. My spoon making is inspired from jill spoon. I havent been making the spoon yet. Thanks for the video adventure. I really appreciate the compilation of knives sheath and also an axe sheath. The next series could be the making of carving , spoon or maybe bush knives. It would be interesting to see the process. I could see a lot of content in making the bush craft and outdoor series such as bag, water bottle, cooking gear, shelter, bed etc. Thanks again. Azhar, lumut perak, malaysia

    Nice assortment of sheaths and ideas! I’ll add my 5 cent. Popular idea is to use a PVC hose. I think it mostly being used for smaller knives and especially for crooked knives that use native Americans. There are PVC hoses in different sizes and it also could be heated and stretched and/or bent to suit the size and form of the knife/blade. Not so fancy but cheap and fairly easy to make. Useful if you have a set of different knives. But in some way it is worth than a wooden case with slot. Cause not every knife you will put in such sheath every time you put it down. And this last criteria is very critical really.

  • @Zedoutdoors

    @Zedoutdoors

    Indeed yes it's funny you mention PVC pipe because we have a tutorial covering that type of sheath in a future video. We were not able to show it here because we did not have an example ready ~Peace~

    Great video as always ,Zed. Always having problems with my spoon knives cutting open anything I've tried to keep them in ,bloody sharp points on them,leather has to be really thick to hold them! Made a few very simple wooden tops for carving knives ,which work ok ,but definitely not as posh as Lee's though! I have my Ashley Iles blockcutter chisels blade down in a small log with individually cut holes for them ,sort of works, but would Lee have any ideas for some sort of set up for having a block where you can put spoon knives in ?Would be super handy as I tend to switch from tool to tool quickly ,maybe some sort of jig that could fit a few individual blade holders?Would be awesome,thanks. Atb to both of you.👍

    Firstly I sincerely appreciate your kind words and for watching, reg a tool block the reason why a lot of people don't use that is because it's typically a bit cumbersome to carry around, but fine for a fixed location. It's worth looking at tool buckets like this - www.amazon.co.uk/Basong-Organizer-Drawstring-Construction-Electrician/dp/B07X587BCK/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=tool+bucket&qid=1598004932&sr=8-8
