I have over 9000 miles on mine, and the one thing that stands out, is the quick shifter! It is almost like having a automatic transmission. Even though I have had, almost all of known issues, and all have been fixed by the dealer (My dealer has been great!). I just love this motorcycle, and the engine is perfect for my ridding style.

My 890 adv R isnt problem free but mostly human error such as over filled both front and rear brake fluid resevoir.... front then leaking brake fluid at top and rear abs frequent kick in... Also TPMS pairing issue as its the first 890 adv that dealer installed TPMS. karoo 3 is a huge let down of the bike to me - I now have a fresh set of Motoz Rallz fitted - see how it getting on. Oh I also have cold start issue approx 3 times over my 1 year ownership but different than yours - mine only fire up 1 cylinder and dies. Afterall, every ride was a fun ride.

When riding it’s all fun but I’m getting a bit irritated with all the issues. My front breaks is getting worse. I think the break discs is uneven. I took the bike on track this weekend and had a lot of false neutrals unfortunately. I’m not sure I’ll keep the bike if problems keep stack up…

Unfortunately not. It was the same before I changed and the same afterwards, no difference. And I always have a charger connected.

my 890 r vibrates to the point that it is sitting in the garage all the time. previous bike was the 1090r. the new ktms are chinese crap , the quality and qc of the austrian made ones isnt there. huge disappointment for me.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m also very disappointed. After shooting this video more problems have occurred. Unfortunately it’s to the point that I’m letting it go. My trust in the bike is not there anymore.
