@@anujbucket The King of Tripura supported Pandavas during the Kurukshetra war hence after the war Yudhishthira gifted the king with a beautiful throne which is still present inside a museum but there was a ritual to sit on the throne whenever a new king was announced he had to step on Lord Narayana before sitting on that throne and if a king doesn't follows that ritual the entire royal family would have been doomed the last king of Tripura didn't agreed to follow that ritual and felt uncomfortable stepping on god to sit on the throne hence slowly the entire royal family lost all it's power over the state.

Our king which went in mahabharat's war was king yalamber, whom you know grandsons of hirambas and son of ghatotkach as barbarik. (Ghatotkach and his son barbarik both went to participate in mahabharat's war). The name of our community changes in time to time, that's why in history it is not found completely. Our community was known as kirat kirati i dapor satya yug. KIRAT means deva di dev mahadev, kirti means ancestors of mahadev. In koli yug comes named us as kachari. And at last britishers named as bodo( Bh. Hodgson) in1847. When our community name was kirat kirti at that time our rule was from nepal to Bangladesh.

That false information for becoming a king those days the prince have to be 18 years above but our prince is to young to rule his kingdom so our Queen Kanchanprabha Devi she merge with india in 1948. The guy don't know the history of Tripura at all.... It was Maharaja Radha kishore manikya when he lost his wife monmohini devi, got depressed, and on hearing Rabindranath Tagore's poem he was fascinated and gave tagore with honor as a poet, who in future will become a great poet. He also invited tagore to work as administrator in Tripura and help in his work. That's how Tripura become integrated with tagore. Thereafter the death of Radha kishore manikya... His entire generation gave honor and respect to tagore. Maharaja Bir bikram awarded bharat vaskar award to tagore and shortly he also received the novel prize. You need to approach some Tripuri historian for True history. Thank you.
