I’m a Caraxes fan myself, it’s slightly deformed appearance, and his demonic roar make him stand out. Also his nickname “The Blood Wyrm” is only outdone by “The Black Dread”

After hearing the details of Aemonds death, Caraxes first rider it makes even more sense why Caraxes was so upset and hurt when Daemon was hit with those arrows during the stepstones. And of course their bond is incredibly deep. You can tell he genuinely loves and cares for his dragon, I think that also has a massive influence on their bond! Great video! Couldn’t agree more

Meleys and Caraxes are two of my favorites, I think my #1 is Vhagar though, I'm just in awe of the sheer majesty of her😍

Vahgar and The Bloodworm are very unique. But Vermithor is my favorite. Hell, they are all badass.

Syrax hatched in the cradle with Rhaenyra, which is a way of short-cutting the claiming/bonding ritual as it ensures the hatchling is forever bonded with the baby. That's why Daemon was so keen on having a dragon egg for his potential baby with Mysaria. The same can be said for Seasmoke, Moondancer, Vermax, Arrax, and Tyraxes, all of which hatched in the cradle. Also, Aegon II + Helaena's two oldest children, Jaehaerys and Jaehaera, had very young dragons bonded to them (Morghul and Shrykos, respectively) that had never been ridden but were still said to be bonded, meaning they must have hatched in the cradle as well.

No this is delusional. You are literally just listing dragons off based on size. Like Caraxes LITERALLY BEAT VHAGAR. Vhagar ends up dying while Caraxes ends up crawling out of the God's eye lake and resting on the shore for some time before ultimately dying. Caraxes was able to straight up kill Vhagar in their battle while Vhagar only mortally wounded Caraxes which ended up killing him a bit later. Vermithor is stated absolutely nowhere to be superior in battle to Caraxes. He's simply just stated to be the 2nd biggest that's literally it. Actually, Vermithor literally dies in a fight against Tessarion (NOT VERY BIG) and Seasmoke (RELATIVELY AVERAGE SIZE) in a 3 way battle. Dude literally stalemates average dragons while the albeit smaller Caraxes does just as well in the Dornish war as Vhagar and Vhagar, and then ends up killing the LARGEST and most experienced dragon in battle. Caraxes is just outright canonically superior in battle to Vhagar and Vermithor.

I honestly hope he plays a part in the upcoming season.

I also think Meleys was bred to be a fighting/war dragon, the horns and spikes add extra protection from bolts and other dragon trying to rip her neck open or decapitate her. She is also incredibly fast, and does amazing with her battle strategy and using the sun to her advantage!

I was trying to think what Coraxes sounds like and it finally came to me. He sounds like a Decepticon when loading a weapon esp in that scene there when he threatens the guards. 😄

Meleys is my favorite and its rider is one of my favorites as well, but i bet that long snake like neck that Caraxes has, is like it were made to fight other dragons. Because dragons cant really burn each other its always about to who has the biggest, fastest or biggest claws and teeth and Caraxes with that neck can even bite the head of the dragon that is behind him. The neck alone must be like 5m long

The Red Queen is my favorite.

I love Silverwing and hope the accord about her death is just false speculation and she actually lived during GoT. She wasn't contained much during her time serving Targaryen, plus her age and freedom at the end would contribute to her being massive and I want to see that.

Meleys truly is a red queen with her crest.

I love Syrax but she definitely wasn't the smartest dragon, that was a really stupid way to let yourself die..just stay in the air and burn them

Yeah i agree. She is one fastest dragon next to Meleys and her fire is pretty deadly she can just burn everyone and hide at the clouds since she is yellow she can hide herself using the sun light.

I wish they made a movie about Aegon and the great Balerion. Or hope that the sequel to Game of thorne the dragon Drago grows as fast as Balerion.

Syrax is a sweet baby girl. She's by far the most docile, people friendly dragon n the show, and her demise is gonna hurt all of us when it happens. Absolute zero doubt. Only dragon death that's gonna hurt me more is Caraxes, for entirely different reasons. Caraxes is my favorite because he's just a Badass, along with being the most unique Dragon of all of them. Syrax is as close to a spoiled, sweet puppy as a Dragon can get, and when she dies, it'll b so sad, because the sweet baby doesn't understand how or why anyone could ever hate her, much less want to kill her. She's going to react to the cries of her dying kin, and react solely on emotion. Not tactics, and that is gonna b the tragedy of her death. She's gonna die due to pain of a broken heart over her kin all dying at the hands of the people she always thought loved her, and Rhaenyra. It's why she didn't even think to straif the antagonists with fire from above. Instead getting on the ground, up close and personal. Because for her, it is personal. So she will die from the rage of her broken heart. Making her by far the most tragic Dragon death on the show. I can even imagine her looking back up at Rhaenyra with tears n her big Dragon puppy eyes, as if to say she was sorry (especially for the quite recent Joffrey incident. Oops...😞), just before she falls. Yeap... They're gonna aim for tears when Syrax checks out. DAMN UUUUUUUU, GoT!!!!!! 🖕😠😆👍💯 I love this film universe.

Caraxes is the most unique looking dragon it has the look of a 🦕 the water kind 😮his legs have rutters and the long neck which could be a strength and a weakness 🔥 design

I'm going to keep hoping Daemon lived and vanished with Nettles. That's my head cannon anyway!

Its not what happened. Daemon died, he fell from the sky, it's imposible to survive that. Almost as you know that a crashing plane doesnt leave survivals. Also the fact that he just left westeros never to return makes no sense for him in character.

Daemon my favorite human in the show. Caraxes; my favorite dragon and the Pink Dread; my favorite pig.

All these Dragons and the only one I long to see is Balerion ( The Black Dread)

If they change anything on the show i hope it’s Rhaenys, and Meleys story! The actor is so good I want to see more of what she has planned!

They said that they've already written the battle scene between Rhaenys and Aegon with Sunfyre and Meleys and Vhagar coming to the rescue. This means Rhaenys would die there as its the same as in the canon. So season 2 is the last time we see her on screen.

@@janiscobain6131 Dreamfyre laid 3-4 clutches of eggs. The first one had 3 eggs which were stolen by Rhaena's friend and eventually came out to be Dany's dragons. She gave another clutch in Fair Isle around 48 AC (i might be wrong about exact date) and it is pretty much clear than Meleys and Caraxes came from those eggs since they were first mentioned around 75 AC. After Rhaena's death, Dreamfyre made her lair in dragonpit and Helaena claimed her. She must have had a third clutch (mention that dragons are asexual, they don't need a partner to get pregnant) from which Sunfyre and Tessarion came out, which is clear from the fact that Sunfyre was the most beautiful one and Dreamfyre was a beauty in herself like no other dragons, her scales were place blue, from where Tessarion's blue colour seems to originate. The fourth clutch hatched into Shrykos and Morghul which were new hatchlings at the time of dace of dragons, claimed by Aegon II's children. Now obviously it won't be mentioned anywhere that which dragon is the mother of which dragon and it pretty much makes sense if everyone just had an idea with the time the dragons came into known, the location of the parent dragons and how much time riders have spent in which location (Dragonstone or Kings Landing).

@@anoldranger1033 Fire&Blood was written in the perspective of a maester 50 years after the events, therefore everything in the books should be taking with a grain of salt. Everything we know about the cannibal is small folk tales and shouldn’t be taken seriously. No known dragons were larger than Vhagar and Balerion although I’m sure some Valyrian dragons dwarved them. Anything about cannibals size is purely speculation.

It would be so good is the 2 betrayers went undercover without the black's knowing and sabotage the greens

I already know my favorite will come n #2. Vhaegar is #1 from sheer size and experience. Leaving my Good Boy, Ceraxes, at #2.

Not a book reader but I'm positive that she is praised as one of the fastest dragons and the fastest in her prime even amongst the likes of both Vhagar and Caraxes. Fire & blood states that Meleys outpaced Vhagar and Caraxes when their riders flew together during the reign of King Jaehaerys.

@@tajaemartin2251 Her feats during the dance seemingly still holds up her reputation quite well. She had Sunfyre on the ropes until Vhagar intervened. Given how Meleys could very clearly compete against a much younger and smaller dragon like Sunfyre doesn’t seem to suggest that she became significantly slower and if Meleys can outpace young dragons like Seasmoke and edge out Sunfyre it’s not unreasonable to think that Meleys could easily outpace a large and sluggish beast like Vhagar. Its harder to gauge her speed against Caraxes given that they never really interacted much after Jaehaerys’ reign but I’m willing to bet Meleys is on par, if not only slightly slower than Caraxes. I only give Caraxes the edge since he has been more active in battles as of recent than Meleys.

Syrax oh god girl she is my favorite she male dragon except from Meleys and Morning but sis chose to Dumb ways to die option. Her fire can melt iron but she chose to used her mouth and claw. And she is also one of fastest dragon she can just butn everyone and free everyone.

Daemon died, he felt over 300 meters or more up in the sky. It would be physically imposible for him to survive. Also his dragon did not pull himself out of the water. He had passed and was brought off-shore.

Then next tier lower would be Syrrax, Quick Silver, Gray Ghost. Then you have below that, Sunfyre, Seasmoke, Vermax, and Tessarion.

@@HulkMode365days Wild dragons may grow slightly quicker as they aren’t confined to the dragon pit, but in the show universe Vhagar isn’t kept in the dragonpit anyway as she’s too big for it. And Vermithor lives like a wild dragon on Dragonstone since his rider died. Vhagar is explicitly stated to be the oldest and largest dragon alive in the world during the dance, and Vermithor is stated to be the next biggest. Sheepstealer is never described as being the same size as Vermithor but I agree he’s probably close to him in size as they are a similar age. I’d say cannibal is only slightly smaller than Vermithor but bigger than Sheepstealer.

Honestly it would have been more badass if Aemond claimed the Cannibal. It my be smaller than Vhagar but would also be faster and better in a fight

So much is wrong with this and I didn't even make it a minute into the video , do your research kid.

I think Caraxes should rate higher than Vaghar.

Yeah in the books caraxes kills Vhagar and at first survives but dies later from the injury's of the battle

@@mattsavage9960 a dragon that was far from its peak already. And even then , what most likely killed vhagar wasn't caraxes himself per se anyway , but rather the crash , since vahgar is massive. Falling from high with that mass is probably enough

The Cannibal is the oldest and biggest… Balerion had a wingspan of 450 feet. The Cannibal has a wingspan of 600 feet. 747 Jumbo Jet has only a wingspan of 200+ feet.

All information we have about the cannibal is small folk tales and aren’t to be taking seriously. As far as GRRM and the HOTD show runners are concerned vermithor, Vhagar, and Balerion were the 3 largest known dragons

@@michaelbenn4912 Man stop that lol the whole point of the book is that it’s written from unreliable sources, maesters are known to have a hatred for Targaryen’s and their customs. So yes, everything in the books should be taking with a pinch of salt, HOTD is showing us what actually happened.

@@michaelbenn4912 Plus it’s explicitly stated in the books and by GRRM in interviews that Vhagar is the oldest and largest dragon during the dance, Cannibal is probably slightly smaller than vermithor but larger than the rest of the dragons so still massive.

Caraxes should be #1. I don't even need to take the pound per pound arguement to prove this. Vermithor being a better fighter of close size and not a old person would have beaten vghar in a fight. Vghar is a literal bully that is less than her brother or carrax. She had to double team merelexs. Vermithor or balerion would brutalized her 1 vs 1.
