Whats the mix ratio? Can you add a pinch of titanium to the flash powder or mix with everything?

@@TonyMontana-jg2gu 60 potassium perchlorate 40 aluminum, after mixing those 2 I added a bit of magnesium powder for the sparks. The strontium is sealed off in a different compartment, so it doesn't mix with the flash composition, so: 60/40 ratio KCIO4/Al. Magnesium is optional.

    @@Xenthiums I prefer 60/40, though 70/30 isn't bad either, I just like to use 60/40 over 70/30😄

Low quality construction, gaps in end caps but lights it end cap up anyway, very unstable flash formula. What's not to like ?

@@jeffhays1968 I don't know whats so unstable about KCIO4/Al, it's the most stable and common formula for flash bro. End caps are hot glue, you may think it was "low quality" but I think the salute said otherwise, I found it great👌 I don't know how you make titanium flash, but magnesium is EXTREMELY common, you must be crazy if you think I put the Sr in the flash composition, because it was sealed off from the flash. I don't see anything wrong with it.

@@amm6405 MG, chlorates, SR, all scare the crap out of me, even just a couple grams. And lighting the tube standing up with visible gaps (or what looks like it in the vid) is asking for a spark from the fuse to jump into the gap for a surprise.Titanium flakes are OK, but magnesium is not, sulphur is not, perchlorates are not. Any of the more reactive sketchy formulas need to be used immediately, preferably not mixed or used ever in my mind. And hot glue while commonly used has issues with becoming rubber bullets and also shrink pulling away from tubes over time giving you those nice gaps the sparks look for to make your day. Just a hard fiber paper end cap is enough, hot glue that on the ends is fine. There is a reason back in the day when silver salutes were legal they used paper end caps. Heck, flash will go boom unconfined in larger weights like 5 or ten grams with no confinement. Hot glue ends are fast yes, but not ideal at all. You do you though, I'm not your mother.

@@jeffhays1968 I totally understand your concerns about this firecracker! It may have looked like visible gaps in the upper cap, but they were completely sealed. I lit this firecracker off, a day after I made it, because I also don't like the idea of big firecrackers and chemicals laying around for too long.. I totally understand you though! And I will try to stay as safe as possible, in the future. But like I said, KCIO4/Al is used worldwide, big manufacturers use this formula, perchlorates are more stable than chlorates. In the near future, I'll try to see what I can to with Ti powder instead of Mg powder, but that is when I run out of Mg👌 thank you for your reply and I will definitely try to do my hobby as safely as I possibly can ❗

@@amm6405 Just stay away from unusual chlorates, sulfur, Mg. and Magnallium. You don't need much flash to have a bad day ! Be safe ! I admit to making some exotic stuff like whistle fuel and such so I should not really talk shit to anyone.
