17/07/19 BR 70000 Britannia Crosses Ribblehead Viaduct With The Fellsman
On the 17th of July 2019, BR 70000 Britannia hauled the final Fellsman of 2019 from Crewe to Carlisle and return via the Settle and Carlisle Railway. Here we see her cross Ribblehead Viaduct on the Northbound part of the journey. Apologies for the slight shakes during the video but on my way to the sight, I had a slight slip of a ledge and landed in some nettles.

Very nice. The problems you seem to have with your tripod are the reason I don't use one! As for slipping - we all do it if we leave the stations! But it's worth it - and thanks for the Cement Train bonus!

It can get stiff if tightened too much and makes for an awkward shake when you try to turn it but if it's too loose then it never stays still

Yes, they can be a pain - that's why some folk just set them up and leave them alone.
