Lots of apartment stuff continues to interfere with my basic life and daily living needs. It's like having two full time jobs. Only I don't get paid, and in fact end up paying more, in money, hours, and health. Continues to be kind of more like camping than being in an apartment. ... or like living in a very small office, that is only ever partly functional, and always being randomly renovated. I know it is like this for all renters now around the world. Hegemony. I know apartments are not hospitals, but they aren't supposed to be military bases either.

@@artemisXsidecross Hi Artemis, it was 105° yesterday. I hiked out at a quarter to 9pm to stock up on all the fluids and whatever else I could fit into my gear. Was still quite steamy. Today mostly trying to recover from the maximum overdrive of last night. Got back in record time. Still hadn't quite recovered from being on my feet too long the last two weeks or sitting too long in a bad ergonomic situation, before pulling off that hike. Needed to refill the nutritional prescription that keeps me out of the hospital. I knew I needed to be up during office hours today to babysit the door in case maintenance turned up. I tried to pull myself together enough to maybe hike over to maintenance today, amid trying to just get other stuff done while I'm in here, but heard texts come in saying water would be off for awhile again today, asking the owners of two cars to move them asap for more water pipe crews to fix in the parking lot. So a lot of years of stuff is getting seen to but other stuff is coming up needing fixed from other hired out marathon type crews similar to the water one, but from other contractors . Meanwhile there's one maintenance guy with a line of work orders that came out of renovation agendas arranged around subsidies, with certain agencies. Faulty small parts swapped out created more problems including shorts from water now happening where it didn't before the run through crew swapping hardware and fixtures out. A little communication could really go a long way, but there are multiple rushed agendas. Making zero time for absorbing communication by the multi taskers, who are all just learning maintenance themselves and trying to do it assembly line style, but with suits corporate executives without much assembly line experience or unfortunately physics experience which comes more naturally from playground experience, and soap box derbies. I will try going over there again tomorrow. Meanwhile it's good that I got extra milk last night and refilled some jugs with reverse osmosis water. Also glad I still had other containers filled with just tap water to wash up with. Back to catch up the other 59 hours of stuff I couldn't stay even with starting last month. Would love to put things back into the rooms they are meant to be in, and free up the current spaces for better ergonomics of everything in general.

🐶🐶. Show offs!!!!!! If we tried to put one those hats on our dog he would almost certainly bite and scratch it off-- and he would probably threaten to bite (or bite) us in the process. After that, the cats would probably bite it and/or scratch it to pieces, then carry the pieces off to hard to retrieve places. Congrats on bday #5 (hard to believe they're already that old), and mega congrats on the good progress report on Mrs. Sklar's shoulder!!!!
