I strongly disagree... Read Deuteronomy 28:15 and then read Deuteronomy 28:68... We were placed into slavery due to our disobedience and breaking of The Commandments of the most High God! The god of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! The so-called blacks/African Americans that went into slavery are the true Biblical Hebrew Israelites of the Bible. So yes God did put us/ our ancestors into slavery and used the Caucasians as an instrument of punishment for our disobedience!

@Ba Hashem Yeshua we are decendants of the African people. This woman was physically able to return her ancestors back to their homeland. It took many people to make you as you are (your parents, grand parents, great grand parents and so on). You are them and they are you. And in knowing that, they returned home when she physically put her feet on that soil. Hopefully one day I will be able to do the same.

I am melugeon, the Freeman family of Richton Mississippi. I have just discovered this African connection. I knew it existed but no detail how or to who. Until a few days a ago reading the work of Tim Hashaw, he is the first I've seen connect these Africans dire toy to the beginnings of the melungeons people. He found church records from the 1640s , that have the 1st documented use of the word. Melungeons was used to describe the generations of mixed people that those Africans were part of. The likelihood of the word origin being this is the best explanation I've come across.

Derrick Culler you are on point. There are good sides but people should be conscious of it and not be threatened with hell heaven stuff to become objects of exploitation.

For the sake of accurate history I have five points to make, and before I do You have to know a little about my families past. I am mostly of Germanic descent and those ancestors were Amish, They didn't believe in slavery and many operated the underground railroad. The rest is Scot's Irish brought to the US in chains to serve a 7 year term of slavery to pay off their debts. It was so severe that 1 in three died from hard work, poor or no food, and exposure. On the French side they were the late comers who arrived just in time for the war of 1812 with a price on their heads from a prince that they swore at rather than swear an oath of allegiance to him. That's what he got for seizing their lands. Now my 5 points. 1. I am deeply offended by lies. What was the date that the Declaration of Independence signed? Everybody knows this July 4th 1776. Then what was the date of the ratifying of the Constitution? September 17, 1787, And that was the beginning of the US as we know her today. Any date earlier than 1776 is something that the Dutch, French, or the ENGLISH are responsible for. 2. The original amendments of the Constitution contained a provision to abolish slavery but it was removed because it was controversial. Politicians were the same then as now. 3. The United States was not recognized by any nation except France until after the war of 1812. They burned the capitol and according to the rules of war we lost, but Americans kept on fighting the British anyway and anywhere they could. The British failed to take only one port town, Boston Harbor. There were Black freedmen who fought in the war of 1812, but currently the education system doesn't teach about them. September 14, 1814 The Star Spangled Banner was written as a poem. The free men refers to all Americans who defended their homeland; Despots and tyrants to European royalty and Mercenaries and slaves refers to both German Mercenaries, and Conscripted troops who had no choice in the matter. The first time it was used as a song was by the US navy during the Civil War. 3. Slavery would exist until the Civil War, and both sides would be made up of volunteers. The freed slaves would be tricked into being slaves again under a system of peonage known as Sharecropping. Enforced by the state governments who were also in the former Confederate States of America. The former slaves were belatedly paid reparations out of the treasuries of those states. The men and women who served and died in the Civil War to free the enslaved people would not get anything other than the pay they earned while in service. 4. The Sharecropping would be taken down as a peonage system in the 1940's and in the late 1950's and early 1960's the Civil Rights would address other issues of separation and unequal treatment by state laws. 5. It takes a long time to debunk a carefully crafted half truth. It is also difficult, because the half truth sounds true, because it contains a part of the truth, which is actually a carefully selected set of facts that lead to a false conclusion. The same people who crafted the half truths that this picture is based on plan long term. As long as they can keep us being hyper color conscious and separated into groups, by what ever divisions they can invent, they will have a chance of doing what they want to do. Destroy the United States of America. It is planned and coordinated by corrupt evil people who have power and want to keep it as long as they live. You don't know how pervasive it is. The "1619 project" is all about money, not justice just getting a payout from the Government. It was the British Crown who brought Africans here as slaves in 1619. Here is the path those slaves took. First they were captured in a tribal war. then they were traded to Arab traders who sold them to Ship's Capstans with a Charter from which ever royalty ruled their home port. Then they were taken to the colonies of that sovereign and sold as farm labor. All of the European countries did it, not just the western European ones Russia, the Ukraine, and Turkey were in the game too. So how do you lay the blame on the colony of Virginia BEFORE she and several other colonies rebelled? Why doesn't the "1619 Project" go after the countries who were involved in the slave trade in 1619? I know the answer to that. Because they would not pay out. but the US just might.

So those slaves were the property of British subjects and England owes reparations to you. Do you have a functioning brain or do you think everyone else is that stupid? At 10:25 she talks about the historic graveyard, she narrates the story of the clean up, but didn't see her out there picking up nan stick. Watching this in 2020. This was so emotional and difficult to watch knowing that millions of enslaved Africans suffered so much, so much, that it should never, ever be forgotten. I feel for every descendant where ever they may be. And I understand why certain people do not like to discuss the brutality of enslavement. It is the guilt of what their ancestors have done. A heavy burden to acknowledge and accept indeed. But we need to know about it, all of it for people to begin to even heal. If not, there will always be racism and racial tensions.

1619 wasn't when the first African slaves were brought to America. It was actually in the early 1500s.

She did an excellent job reporting this; God deemed it this way and HE alone will compensate us that are still here to receive the Reparations from Heaven.

Christians whether they are catholic or pentecostal or whichever denomination are all cut from the same cloth; they all worship and believe in the same freak that died on a cross. Let me give it to you straight, they don't have a covenant with the Most High; only Israel have that covenant and is the only people on God's radar. The term Christian is mentioned 3 different places in the bible and only in the New Testament ; ; . In none of those passages did God ever make any promise to Christians as He did to His chosen people. Furthermore, He constantly refers to Himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; at no time did He ever say (direct words from His mouth) that He was the God of another nation.

@@TKO67 I use to believe that they were different, and they are on the surface. However, when you really get down to the nitty gritty bone of it, all roads lead back to Rome. Even Protestantism and all branches of Christianity have their roots in Rome from whence they'll return. That's the push of ecumenism, to reunite the all the Christian denominations under Rome. la mulata linda Martinez Just wanted to point out the fact that after the Ethiopian Italian war Haile Selassie set out a plot of land called Shashamane for Rastafarians and Black Americans. These were Black Americans who volunteered to help fight against Mussolini and were the first to settle the land in 1948. But they were TOLD that they were ISRAELITES not AFRICAN so they dispersed to Israel and the other half left to settle in Liberia. Understand I do not subscribe to the Israelite doctrine but nevertheless I respect their acknowledgement of who they say they are. I believe all African Americans are from Kemet and can prove it thoroughly but there are plenty of naysayers who will go against what I say regardless of how thorough I present my point of view. The Hebrew Israelite perspective is very thorough so I just ask that you respect them and see them as the distinct tribe that they claim they are.
