1600hp 2JZ Nissan 240sx - V8 Slayer!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This promod 88mm turbo 2JZ 240SX is an import that can hang with the big dogs! Some of the biggest names in no-prep drag racing showed up to the Doomsday No-Prep to battle the biggest and baddest. Little did they know, this beautiful 240sx with a little turbo inline 6 cylinder would show up and DRAG some ass! These big displacement nitrous and turbo V8 weren’t quite sure what they were in for. This 240 goes deep in the rounds and drives around cars like The Fugitive, nitrous big block Chevy and turbo big block Chevy cars!

    +Chase McWilliams It is part of the staging process when you see the car jump before they take off that is a bump in. A deep stage is when you move so close to the front of the staging area that you almost red light, which means to go over the start line.

    +Aidan red I've had a few people get buttmad & tell me to go RB instead of 2JZ when I tell them that it's what I want for a swap in my 240sx, but that's only extreme purists. More people get mad at LS swaps at them for some reason, but those people tend not to even own cars, or if they do, the don't own a 240sx. Still like my SR swap tho, good weight balance for what I want, & my power goals are only 420hp so it's not that bad for what I got

    +Jayson Clark define crash. On the track, or on a road? I'd say if you're on the road, doing 300 is much less dangerous than crashing at 100. But if you're on the track, crashing at 100 is nothing. Crashing at 300, though - now THAT is dangerous.

    +Eric Sangimino Grudge racing lifestyle it's an equalizer if you will trying to balance power and traction. Granted it's a track so it's a lot more prepped than most street style preps but some fresh VHT goes a long way without that, power becomes less of a factor but rather traction and the driver.

  • @patw52pb1

    @patw52pb1

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Eric Sangimino No-prep racing is usually a function of cost. These are private events where the track is rented out to a group or individual and that group or individual chooses to go no-prep and or no-time to make it affordable. The same goes for certain other track services such as the level of standby fire/rescue/medical and medical transport such as a standby medevac helicopter. It costs the track about $5,000 USD to prep the track, a standby ambulance is about $300 USD per hour and a standby medevac helicopter is about $500 USD per hour. Some states and some insurance underwriters mandate that the track have both land and air medical transport when operating. The timing system costs the track a fixed fee for every recorded pass and an additional fee for every timing slip printed. As you can see the costs for an event accumulate quickly.

Part of it's getting your car dialed in just right, part of it''s just plain old luck of the draw. And that 240 was dialed in pretty well.

    v8 slayer? 3 of his wins were due to the other making a bad pass(the tt mustang failed to go 20 feet) then actually had a good race against the tt sbc. Then got walked by the mistress. Then lost to a V8 for the final lel. The 2JZ is a sick build but I definitely wouldn't call it a V8 slayer.

    He must have had some issues vs the mistress. Looked hella slow... But yeah you are right, "v8 slayer" might be a bit too cocky..

    +confinedPC The blacked out camaro that we raced where its was a super close (like a fender) finnish, is like the 2nd fastest guy out there. We both had clean passes on that run and were neck and neck, we were turned down a bit because of our alignment issues to keep the car straight out of the hole.. That launch was about 1.75G, when we launch full power the car typically pulls 2.1-2.15G.. Basically now that we fixed some chassis problems, we will be much faster next time out, plus we have another 200HP now that we took out the POS 600HP Air to air intercooler we were using.. ;)

    Oh shut up hater!! It totally destroyed those "v8", that's your excuse?!! I assumed they were "scared" so they were like, "let's launch lame", even the car at 2:01 was like " OK I give up".. 2jz ftw, hate it or love it!!!
