My 16 was literally this sweet as Regina's, I had just completed my O'levels, then I simply lost focus and confidence. So it's refreshing to watch young girl just spitting knowledge and self assured at her age. Regina, may your path shine brighter, and scale greater heights of leadership and responsibility. It's sad that Kenyans take their tribalism everywhere, how else will you become a global citizen if you take your village mindset with you. It's time to embrace our national identity which makes us stronger. ❤

It's the confidence for me. What a delightful interview. When I was younger I didn't know what elders meant when they said that someone had a bright future. Now I get it. This confident, brilliant, powerful, beautiful young lady is going places. I'll be a fan, on the sidelines, cheering her on.

This girl is on onother level at 16yrs was still very far away from self awareness, he confidence is top notch. I just love her call for being a champion in children challeges. Will definitely play this again when my kids come for holidays.

Refreshing to see a young lady who is so articulate & full of wisdom. So proud of you Regina & best wishes in all your endeavours. Yes, in the UK you get a national insurance number at 16 and can formally work, if you don’t want to continue in education. Lynn, come to UK and stay at mine, no interviews, just chill & relax. Snobbery, where well to do Africans/blacks look down on other less well to do people (particularly Kenyans & Nigerians). What I have perceived is that: Kenyans are tribalistic. Africans/blacks can have colourism (where lighter skinned look down on darker skinned people. Xenophobia is also an issue where some African/Caribbean people look down on other Africans. In my experience, the most unified Africans are Zimbabweans. Although they stick to their own, they are very patriotic & supportive of each other. Botswana people stick to their own & don’t mix. Kenyan, Rwandese & Tanzanians are friendly.

Loved Regina's free spirit and confidence. She;s so focused and definitely a leader at heart. Beautiful how she is concerned about young people's challenges and her desire to help out where she can at her level of influence. Wishing her a great future ahead. She should understand that there are people who go to those Meetings just to Chat with someone from home in their mother tongue or in swahili. Doesn't die West africans speak Pidgin to each other? I have been to places people spoke in a languages i did not unterstand and it didnt bother me from kenya not only from the mountains like pple want to suggest.

Young mayors are all under 17. It’s a program to help youth participate in youth council. It’s not a mayor in the traditional sense. Still a great achievement for this brilliant eloquent girl.

My daughter says we broke up because of her she's only 13😢. It makes me very sad. I've worked hard to get her to understand that its not her. Slowly by Slowly she's starting to see her dad for who he is since I make sure they're close and spend time together. I hope she'll grow up to become like this young lady.

Kids are always torn between two parents when separation occurs. Despite the parents differences, kids usually love each equally and it's upon the custodian parent to try bridge the kid with the away parent. Great that you're bridging your daughter with her dad. 👍
