Every single one was great! To many women think vintage style equates with pinup. These modest practical outfits are much prettier in my opinion. Rockabilly and pinup just are too costumey. Good job!

I thought every outfit was simply divine. I love the autumn and winter months just so I'm able to layer different items of vintage clothing, as it makes me feel beautiful and confident at the same time. I am always complimented on my makeup, hairstyles & clothing when I'm out in public. I make my own clothes skirts and dresses because I have Fibromyalgia Syndrome and the pain can be so bad at times, therefore I need to make or alter my clothing, thus less restricting. I make them only out of natural fibre fabrics (cotton, wool, silk etc).. So it can get expensive unfortunately. It's beginning to get warmer here in Australia and summers can be veryhot and uncomfortable. So I make all my fit & flare dresses and circle skirts for those freezing winter nights (from cotton or a lining from a lightweight to cotton or viscose) for those hot and uncomfortable bushfire prone summer days. For those winter mornings and evenings, I have found that layering or doubling up on items like 2 skirts/ petticoat, tops or my favourite trick in winter is to which was wearing nude stockings under my floral fishnet stockings, then adding floral socks and sometimes a wool and vintage lace leg warmers. My normal layering clothing items I wear on chilly days are: layered blouses, stockings, cardigan, coat/jacket/poncho, hat/beane, scarf and gloves. For our hot summers I basically don't layer up and I wear my hair up and out of the way in a hair scale, I would tie it up in a huge bow and then add about 5 different colour flower clips/pins to the right side of my scarf to balance out my bangs that go in the other direction. I may wear a top shor sleeved or flowy, long loose sleeved top under my dress to add some extra sun protection. Not wear the nude stockings with the lace tights and I would wear a comfortable belt to add waist definition. Summer is the time I play around with more accessories (broaches, hair scarf's, hair accessories, jewellery, handbags, umbrellas etc.). Dressing vintage in the Aussie summer can be a huge challenge. It's important to be comfortable and have some tricks up your sleeve. I stick to a specific silhouette (A-line/fit & flare... mainly for comfort) and incorporate lots of lace and florals. One of my life long favorite designers is the Australian fashion designer "Alannah Hill"..... definitely is worth checking ot her website if you haven't before, as every small detail has been met and each item makes you feel beautiful, luxurious & feminine. Amazing and well put together lookbook, nothing missed. I loved your blouses, skirts and dresses!❤❤❤ Well done, wish more people respected, wore and would then enjoy wearing vintage styles of clothing and accessories. ❤❤❤ Janelle (Melbourne, Australia)
