    Great job. It was actually your advice on how to turn the flame down that made a huge difference on my larger pizzas. I took it one step further and on any pie 14” or more I actually shut off the over for the first 90 seconds.

    @@jepgato6657 no I haven't but they look perfect for cooking at home actually. I buy these Turkish bread style bases from my local fruit and veg place they work well and I wanna make my own dough this year I rekon

    burning and ripping are the main problems when trying to bake a 16 inch pizza in this oven. The hack i use is to make sure i pre heat the oven for 30 min(oven must reach full temp) place the dough on a pizza screen and build pizza. place pizza with screen in oven, rotate frequently for first 10-20 seconds until dough is firm. remove pizza from screen then relaunch back into oven. since the dough is firm at this point you can turn the pizza frequently preventing burning and no ripping occurs because the dough is firm.

    that came out great! I keep stretching mine to around 14" but they just shrink/bubble back up to a 12". Love the channel man!

    Thanks bud! Yeah they definitely shrink a bit. This one was a bit under 16”. 16” is literally right up on the flame lol

    let it your dough balls to rest at room temperature for at least two hours

    Good video! Bought one but gonna wait until holiday season to put it on deck and try while watching all the hockey and football games as I do during this time. pizza going to be my hobby go to spread..... looks like this flame is so unpredictable and too hot for the pizza most ppl try to make... im thinking of doing a new haven style pizza.

    Thanks for the video… did you ever try turning the oven off at the launch and letting the base form for like 2 mins? Then maybe set the dial very low? It works well for me, just wanted to share.

    I just had my second child! The wife had strict dietary restrictions during her pregnancy so couldn’t make pizza. Im also a pharmacist by day. Tough finding time these days. If i do find the itch to make more videos I definitely will! 😃👍

    @@jepgato6657 I have found various new ways to make pizza. I had serious issues with burning. Like my pizzas were done in 30 seconds when i started.

    That shrunk during launch. That looks 14.5" at most. I bought a karu 16 which is 17.5" opening and 16.7" stone. I'm thinking a full 17" pizza is possible

    If u turn yr pizza dont do it from front side...just start by left or right side..it wont tear
