Thanks for this! You did find some free patterns that I had missed. I'm voting for the Grasser tee demo. My personal favorite is the Plantain. Looks great on me and my daughters. Enjoy the sun and warm!

Found the DIBY - "Anything But Basic Tee" through this video many months ago now and it's the best t-shirt pattern I have sewn. And the only one that's free of the ones I've tried ;-) The instructions are really good. They've included measurements for sizing and finished garment and they're also have biceps, high hip and upper bust measurements, something alot of patterns lack. On top of this their instructions included detailed pattern adjustment directions for beginners and seasoned sewist alike. Grading between sizes, shortening/lengthening pieces and full bust adjustments are all explained very well. To my understanding they also have instructional videoes, I haven't seen them so can't comment on that, but still a plus in my book. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for sharing about the free patterns! I downloaded the Mandy Boat Tee, since it looked like the perfect solution for two double border print knit fabrics I had purchased but then realized they would not work well with any pattern I already had. (The border art, which you would want to run crosswise on the garment along the hem, is printed along the selvage edge, which has no stretch. Most tee shirt patterns are designed for cross-wise stretch fabrics.) The Mandy tee works well for border prints because it is loose fitting (and I sized up), so cross-wise stretch isn’t critical, and it has a straight hem which doesn’t interfere with the border art. I also cut the 3/4 sleeves with the border at the hem and used a slightly narrower seam allowance. I was initially skeptical of a boat neck design because they tend to go straight across the neck, but this one is nicely drafted with a curve, so it doesn’t pull against the neck. Thanks again for sharing such helpful information! ❤️

Great pattern roundup, thank you! Almost half of them were new to me, by new to me pattern companies too, great! I've made a couple of Plantains, that pattern fits me really well. I'd love to see more roundups like this, trousers/pants would be great.

Wow, great! I would love to see some woven easy fitting shirts. I am looking for simple construction. I am just getting back into sewing for myself, after a 25 year break. I used to sew all of my clothes, except undergarments. I even sewed prom dresses, jeans and swim suits. Sewing for oneself is really cool now, so I want to start again. I plan to buy really good quality fabric, even if it is pricey...after making a trial garment first. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

Thank you, this was a very good benchmark for me! I would like to see the Basic Instinct Tee with set in sleeves. I really like the pictures showing it is possible to get a good stripe matching from the bodice to the sleeve. I have purchased the Rowan pattern from Megan Nielsen and it is currently my favorite. Just recently I have downloaded the Plantain in order to make a comparison. This video introduced me to several pattern I had not seen. I will be checking out the ABB Tee and the Basic Instinct Tee.
