This lecture follows the dispersion of stylistic characteristics from Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism, which after the 12th century are used in Islamic monuments. The sultanates that followed the invasions of the Turks in northern India would integrate the actual structures and motifs from the Hindu and Buddhist art and architecture, culminating in perhaps the most famous Indian mausoleum, the Taj Mahal.
