I'm one of the veteran watchers on this channel. Simon's Cat literally was created when I was a year old.

I was a college senior when the original version of this video debuted. (That makes me feel old!) Anyway, I never will forget how hard I laughed when the cat took the bat, and hit him. I still chuckle every time I watch it. We had a gray tabby named Katie at the time, and it reminded me so much of her because the only time she wanted anything to do with us was she was hungry. Unfortunately, we decided to put her down in 2016 when we discovered that she had feline lymphoma. R.I.P., Kate!

Simon's Cat is already a legend thats never gonna get old!

Я так поняла, посмотрев видео с автором, что он придумал этого кота, исходя из воспоминаний своего детства. У него был свой кот когда-то. Он его и взял прототипом к Саймону. Не факт, что у него сейчас есть такой кот. Но мультики классные сделал про кота.

I had a cat who wanted a can of cat food in the morning. Every day he would wake me to feed him. He got cleaver and decided to wake me five minutes early. Everyday he did that. Five minutes earlier than the day before. It was annoying. After a 4 a.m. wake up, no more. He was angry for a few days.

Even tho I know a cat can't pick up a bat or Gnome, you capture the insistent nature of cats PERFECTLY! I can feel the claws now. Maybe a Ep. w/ cat sitters (claws, hiding & getting shut out)?

Lived through the repair of a family anniversary gift. That was it. All the cat's that adopted me stay outside. Definitely and absolutely outside.
