I heard some say they don’t like that the battery is behind them when they sit, that it makes it uncomfortable when they lean back. Easy fix, just run the jacket power cord through the internal slots (the ones for the phone charger cord) to the front left pocket and put the battery in that pocket. You have plenty of power cord for this. Now no issues when you sit and lean back. I do this when I ride my motorcycle (it has a back rest). I actually leave it like this cause I like the battery better in front pocket anyway.

I don’t have that problem of the battery leaning back. I’m leaving back in an office chair as we speak and the battery in the left hand pocket is almost sitting right on my crotch.

When you heat your core only you'd be surprised at how much that alone would warm you up everywhere. Wish they had some in the hood tho, keeping the head warm. For the prices they charge for these, they should have heated hoods.

I think a better idea would be to make the heat pads run down the arms because the core takes longer to get cold.

Look into Action heat jackets as a good example. Two of their batteries combined lasts 9 hours. And two of action heats batteries combined are half the size of a single hart 8 hour jacket battery.

Awesome review especially I did not know about the slits for the phone cords - I bought 2 of these on clearance at Walmart for 100.00 a piece and I absolutely love them - now people keep in mind always especially hunters it’s nice to keep an extra battery on you fully charged because it will also eat up the power faster charging your phone - I use mine hunting and turn it on only when getting cold and on low as like the man said if on high you will get real cold when the battery dies but after I warm up a little I turn it off - Also I keep the extra battery I was talking about in a baggie with two hand warmers in it to keep the battery warm as the cold will cause the battery to start losing power- I also do this with the battery I am using but like I said my man is awesome and gave a great review - Hart you need to thank this man - He probably just sold you many jackets

So after wearing this for a season you can be off the whole summer after needing to have your left kidney replaced. Soon they will have a pocket for a lawnmower battery to power these jackets. Will they have a women's jacket where two batteries are stored in two breast pockets? - 6-Amp Hour batteries FTW

I'd recommend the Milwaukee Axis jacket. It has more heated zones and will run on the m12 Batts or can run on the m18 or dewalt 20v batts if you buy the appropriate adapter.

Me having one and loving it all around, and being appreciative of such a product in case you're stuck out in the cold, tells me all I need to know too. It's an amazing jacket, find a better one for this price. People are way too damn entitled and spoiled now. One guys whining because of a less than 1lb battery when it's not possible to run without one, and now we have some cryptic critic throwing out virtue signals about the battery pack. What's next are we going after Hart with pitchforks and a mob until they have a jacket that also wipes your ass for you too??

All these moronic comments are funny as hell. These jackets aren't even meant for everyday use unless you're living in a very cold area all year round basically. It's meant to warm you up when you NEED it, if you think a less than 1 lb battery is that heavy, you probably shouldn't be even looking at any Hart stuff cause they make TOOLS and tools are HEAVY. 😢😥😭😭😭😭 People are whiney spoiled self entitled whiney butts now days.
