And yes there is less fresh water than there is oil. Fossil furls was a term created to make you think it was dead dinosaurs. Because if you knew there was more oil than the water keeping every living thing on the planet alive. They could guilt trip you into paying 6$ a gallon for it.

Probably closer to triple, a factory 600hp CAT has 2000ft.lbs of torque

Because it isn't the force from the wheels lifting it like a car, it is the massive amount of torque from the engine twisting the front end over. Built muscle cars can make their car shake side to side a little when revving it if the engine has enough power. And really built ones, like drag racers, have to have extra structure to keep the car from twisting and becoming damaged. Cars are also very lightweight and use very sticky tires. Sticky tires are very soft and last only a few hundred miles before getting worn down. Trucks, are very long and very heavy. A normal truck tends to have more weight on a single tire than what an entire full size pickup weighs in total. Plus, the tires have to be very strong with hard, long lasting rubber. This makes them not sticky at all, but able to last around 100,000 miles. Because of those tires, trucks can't get enough traction to do a normal wheelie like a car. Plus, trucks are very heavy, and doing a wheelie would be like lifting three large SUV off the ground at once, where a car only lifts it's own front end of a few hundred pounds. This is why they needed a heavy trailer, to crush the truck tires into the ground so the have traction. And even with all that, they are still able to do a burnout. The lifting of one wheel isn't it lifting at all, but is purely the result of the engine torque itself twisting the front end over. The engine has so much power, that it is trying to flip the truck, but the truck is anchored by the trailer, so it just twists it. All those aspects combined, tons of torque, hard tires, heavy weight, long frame, means it doesn't do a wheelie. Plus, truck suspension is completely different, and doing a wheelie with 2 drive axles means it would have to crush the rear one into the ground to do it. Old trucks with a suspension called a walking beam did wheelies all the time, and could keep the front end up during the entire pull, but that suspension is also completely different from what we use now. This isn't even that impressive, by big power standards. The best ones can keep lifting the wheel through several shifts. Check out Onaway truck pulls to really see some absurd power.
