Jonathan, what a pleasure to find you on here! I hope all is well with you and the family.. My wife, Elaine Wilson-Carrocia, and I were just talking about you the other day. Our youngest, Connor Wilson-Carrocia, asked Elaine if we could go visit with "Uncle Jonathan" on his Spring Break. We plan to travel to see Elaine's mother (aka Gamma Pie). She recently moved into a Senior Living Community. Elaine's father (aka Poppy Bear) passed away in May and Gamma Pie sold the farm to a man named Carl Givens. Mr. Givens plans to develop the land into a new neighborhood (Hickory Wood Estates). Elaine is very upset about this. Gamma Pie seems to be taking it ok. Elaine often shares memories of you and her playing around in the barn and chasing the geese around. I just wish my children got to experience more time on the farm. with Poppy Bear and Gamma Pie. Does your mother still make those good apple fritters? Stop by and see Gamma Pie sometime. That would make her day! Love and hugs, Vincent "Vinny" Carrocia and Elaine Wilson-Carrocia P.S. - We got the kids a new puppy dog for Christmas. It is a little Dachshund named Oliver Sam Wilson-Carrocia. Mandy (who is now 14!) picked out the name. I think it is a character in one of those fictional short stories that she writes for the Literature Club at school. She is also on the Student Council. We are so proud of our little Mandy Wilson-Carrocia.

@@vinnycarrocia7511 Dear Vinny and Elanie, Your message really made my day! Sadly i have to tell you that i am not the Jonathan from your memories. I am from Europe and have never lived on a farm. But yes, i am doing really fine! When you go visit Gradma Pie greet her from me - unknowingly. I hope she is doing fine in the community. When my Grandma was moving to a Senior Living Community she had a really good time there meeting new people to spend time with. She became very happy in her last couple of years. Fingers crossed for Grandma Pie to experiance at least an even good time! I am sorry to hear about your loss of Poppy Bear. May his soul be in a happy place now. I can understand that Grandma Pie didn't want to have the responsibility for the farm anymore when she was at her own. At least That Carl-Gives-guy is planning to develop the land. It could be worse i think. Giving some families a place to live together. But i can imagin that erasing the farm hit the feeling as the farm can only be seen in memories from that point on. Take good care on Mandy and never stop to support all your kids. Even when you disagree with some of their life decissions. Nothing matters more than a healthy family relation. A happy new year to all of your family and yourself! Greetings from Europe, ~Jonathan

Gold Recovery, could you tell us what the inputs cost you? ... I mean what did you pay for the acids, the chips, filters, baskets etc? ... I am trying to guess how much profit you are making, when doing this. If we do not count labor costs, because I do not know what that cost you or if you do it all yourself or with a family member or so. I am guessing $165/ton in acids (and I assume you need 1000L for this batch) and $10/pound for IC chips (ebay prices, so you can maybe get them cheaper) or 150 kg for $3,000. With the gold being not completely pure, its probably still worth $9,000 so it should be about $5,000 profit after paying for shipping, rent (if any), labor costs and disposal costs (if any). Seems like a nice business!

@@khan1997ak Which of these inputs are cheaper in Pakistan? What can you get IC chips for per kilo Abdul? Is the acid cheaper near you as well or just the e-waste? Any prices that you could please share would be much appreciated. For instance $10 a kilo for IC chips, $20 a kilo for CPU's and $15 per kilo for memory sticks. Those were just examples and guesses but I am very curious how much the many different types of E-waste costs in India and Pakistan. Thank you and have a great day Abdul.
