It's about time we took some of the best players in the world, and made them fight each other to the death in an epic Knockout FFA challenge!

Outpost Live 2024 is a real-life meet-up LAN event that is going to be held in Leiden, the Netherlands, on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of October 2024. This is going to be the third meet-up, and for sure, it will be the biggest! Lots of cool things have been scheduled, so keep your eyes open as we give you more info over the coming weeks! 😁

FFA Challenge:
- Free for All (FFA)- 7 Players Starting
- First player eliminated per game is eliminated from the Tournament
- $20 dollar on offer per game for winnng player
- $50 for winning the final game.
- No Rules
- No Chat (no chat in-game, no chat in lobbies, no chat in livestream, no chat anywhere really...)
- The deciding 1v1 game will be a Tank Mirror on "Blue Hole" by NoMerci
- FairPlay & Gamereplays Tournament Rules Apply.
- Scaffold surviving is not allowed unless a player has the money and ability to rebuild.
- Gentool upload mandatory "on", ideally set to "save all".
- Again, no in-game CHAT allowed!

Hallo legi . I have a suggestion that I hope will be implemented in all upcoming challenges. In Knock-out challenges, when the number of players reaches 4, then the first two players died they get knock-out , not just one player. In order to avoid 2v1 in the next match. Because no matter how great a player you are, you will be eliminated in a 3-player match. Because you will get 2v1. Isn't this true? I hope you take my suggestion into consideration. Thank you for the stream

Just a thought for the meet-up day and for what you guys can do- A hide and seek game? Six players- 3 hiders and 3 seekers. The hiders are all Stealth General and get that GPS thing. They each get one Technical and stealth it. The seekers are all USA. They each get one Humvee with a Scout Drone. Pick a small-ish map and if the hider is found- they're out and the seeker that found them gets a point. I dunno I'm just spitballing here.

Get 3 extra hours of sleep *ABSOLUTELY NOT* WATCH LEGI COMMENTATING FOR 3 HOURS STRAIGHT? ABSOLUTELY
Hummi with quite questionable decisions in this challenge, but I partially blame no chat for this. When 2 people are locked in a battle and 3rd guy is huge there's no real way to tell the other guy 'Hey we gotta stop you know'. So perhaps the no chat rule can be reconsidered. . However overall this was one of the best and cleanest ffa challenges ever! More knock-out please, hands down the best ffa format & Legi being the most professional commentator in ZH!

Question: why us superweapon bad against air force? In my noob mind, shouldnt the emp patriots be the bane of airforce as they take down anything flying in an instant? And then also have access to alphas?

Alphas are not allowed in pro rules, and basic units are more expensive.

Plus airforce chinooks have point laser defence so they can be use offensively to stop any missile

In my opinion, this tournament format is not as exciting as the point based one, like the one you casted 1 week before this tournament. In this kind of tournament, the only thing that counts is eliminating the first player, which takes away the excitement after the first player has been eliminated in a match. With the point based system, not only the start counts (e.g. getting 3 points for getting the first kill), but also the late game (e.g. getting 3 points for winning and getting points through killing others). It just offers more unpredictability than this knockout system. Anyway, no matter what, always thank you for the entertaining and fantastic casting!

so players don't chat and try to manipulate each other. for example, in some cases, players will say things like "red stole my army, let's all attack him", which could result in 2v1 or 3v1 against red. in some cases, players would say it even if it's not true, but it could still lead to a 2v1 or 3v1 against a specific player

@@hackramatan cuz players can still try to manipulate the outcome, even before a match has started. for example, a player might attempt to 'peace' with others in order to target down the best player in the set

Please for the love of god don't do the knockout format in the live event it's always painful to watch the expert getting targeted in the 3 player match I still remember how size got targeted and it still hurts me

we will probably do a combination of point system + knockout. but yea, it's likely for the best 1v1 player to get targeted in the 1v1v1. either the 1v1 expert rushes and takes out a guy quickly, after which, they'll have an easy fight in the final match, or they get eliminated and come 3rd place, giving non-experts a chance to win a tourny as well. personally i'm fine with it, but yeah, i can understand that not everybody appreciates these outcomes
This is what happens when pros play FFA… survive until it’s a 1v1. Love them format but predictable
