I applaud how fast you progressed and how good your island looks, but for viewers thinking about how long they've been playing and how their island looks, the whole point of the game is to make your own island at your own pace, you still have a 2 star island after 2 months? Who cares, maybe you're more into interacting with villagers, or maybe you don't have much time or maybe you don't have ideas for what you want your island to look like, etc... The game is personal, play it however you like

Don’t restart your islands guys 😳 just tear everything down, move everything to the beach, and tada fresh canvas but with all your money, DIYs, catologue, and villagers. If this still just isn’t doing it for you then go ahead and restart, but mosttt things are fixable without losing all your progress

exactly! i’m in the middle of this process and i’m so glad i didn’t restart because i still have access to everything so i can get on with decorating it exactly how i want, the only reason i would restart is if i had literally done everything and started getting bored (plus my resident services is super close to the airport)

Lol tbh I see some of the crazy island tours on YT and they make me hate my island by comparison. We just gotta enjoy the game at our own pace and find joy in what our island has to offer :) cause heaven knows I'm not about to do crazy perspective stuff or lay 1 million cute flower tiles all over my town. I love how they look but it's not worth the time to me.

wow it's crazy how you upgraded your house in like 2 weeks, I've been playing for 2 months and I'm only on my second upgrade 😂 *but remember that doesn't matter all that matters in animal crossing is you play how you like* (:

I had my island for awhile, but I spent so much time planning and preparing, to decorate my island, not doing. I had collected a lot of stuff I planned to use (hence the preparing). I was so overwhelmed and it was just too much. I found that I wasn't really enjoying the game and hardly played. I decided to restart and get away from the game for several months. I came back to it yesterday and I'm so excited for my fresh start!

This is literally motivating me, to actually put effort into my island i have watched multiple of vids about this kind of thing to help me, and thats how i found this video. Not even half way through it i subbed, this is so helpful!! its helped me lots just to see how other people handle their island so i could try a different kind of thing. And i am also really stunned at how you got your island to progress so much! if your reading this and havent subbed to Shroomie i highly suggest to sub to her her content is so enjoyable and helpful too!

Getting terraforming is going to take 2 weeks no matter what you do. I went crazy wondering what I could do to get 3 stars faster but you just have to wait for the 8th person to move in. Just play every day and do what Nook tells you to do the day he says it. To get the last two people to move in faster I recommend recruiting them from mystery islands. You also have to decorate a little. Just do what you want with that and when the 8th person moves in if you dont have 3 stars go crazy placing items everywhere. Make sure you have lots of flowers too but they only count when fully bloomed so plant them early. Get Mable to move in by buying a few things from her whenever she visits and upgrade the museum by donating lots. If you still don't have 3 stars after all that you might have to put down a bridge or incline. But i didn't have to. For money island hop at night until you get tarantula island. Fill your pockets with tarantulas then store them until Flick comes.i also did TONS of fishing and any good ones I got I saved to sell to CJ. Turnips is also good for money. You can find places online where people post if they have a high price. Hope that helps!

I'm a new player and this really helped me out alot with ideas, I have a diner at the moment and have done a relaxy beach. I've collected teddy bears that were kindly given to me at a yard sale and also mushroom things for what I hope to be a dreamy mushroom forest. Also have been lucky enough to find cinnamoroll bits to make a little cafe. It's a hell of a grind. I think I may concentrate more on villagers so I can get that fancy terraforming tool 😂

I originally didn’t think this game was exciting so it wasn’t on my wishlist, but I saw a few videos and told my friend who did have a switch to get it. He thought it was boring but then he starting watching videos and started playing. Eventually I became bored with it again and it went off my wishlist. But, Now that I have a Switch, he has convinced me to get it and even after just one day it is an amazing game.
