$150 BROKEN Xbox Series X - Long Version
Ғылым және технология
$150 BROKEN Xbox Series X - Long Version - This poor Xbox is quite beat up and broken, with dents everywhere and even the fan completely broken out of place. Will we have to replace all the parts or can we salvage some? Also, what do YOU think might've happened to this Xbox?

I am crushed as there was no angelic singing and starshine as the 'perfect amount of thermal paste' was applied.

Steve, Would really love to see a tour of your shop/repair area and your storage/organization for all your parts and components, someday. So many saved consoles and electronics, and you usually have something to fix each one.
I’m thinking there was an angry spouse and a hammer involved here .

Steve, I just now realized that you have a channel that is 'TronicsFix Longs'... I was going to your original channel looking for all the long versions but to no avail! Glad my pea sized brain figured it out!! Keep up the good work and hope your treatments are going well... can't wait to see you in a 100% clean bill of health!

Lol, glad you figured this out. Treatments are going well. One more to go!
I've fixed heatsinks which have looked worse than that one. It's actually possible to get back to "close to original" - as long as nothing is "punctured".
Regards from Brazil. Glad you're doing fine and almost cured!

Great to see you giving these consoles a second life
20:30 no sound effect, so obviously it shouldn't work!
0:40 usually you can press the eject button and that’ll power it up like you pressed the normal power button (if it’s a working functional Xbox)
I hope the owner of this console is alright.
Is the chemo over with? I don't keep up to date on it but I keep hoping you get through it asap.

It took some force to do that kind of damage! It looked like someone dropped it down a couple flights of stairs or something...
Mine occasionally crashes, but only while playing Halo Infinite or Apex online on big maps. Re did thermal paste, but it still happens on occasion. Almost curious if a ram chip is flakey.
I'm going with a bad report card and the Mother went crazy on the XBox lol . . .I had my doubt you would fix this one but the master proved me wrong congrats on the fix
What happened to the “perfect amount of thermal paste” special effects?!?!? I miss that!!

definitely a result from some unfortunate gamer who came under the ire of their spouse's rage. i have seen worse but damn, that is painful to the EYES. i hope you recover soon!
Looks like one owned by Tango Gameworks employee...
Admirable attempt to fix this, but the spare parts are gonna cost more than a whole new unit. Personally, with all that effort, it would be a good candidate for putting in a crazy case or doing something off the wall with it.

Are new spare parts readily available? Not everyone has a collection of non-working hardware to salvage.
The intro for the damage & continued laughter says everything before you start. You rock & thank you for attempting to fix what most toss away unfortunately. 🕵️🥰 One of three channels I get notifications for. 🙃🤑🫶😂
I suspect that the design of the XBOX Series X will have protected the Main Boards to some extent except for some of the Ports of course, That definitely seems like one Angry Significant other or someone seriously lost their rag while playing a Game! Cool Video though Steve! 🙂🇬🇧

Did I used to own that X Box?

I think dad bounced this X box off his son's head.

Why pay 150 dollars lol... this is worth 50 dollars... you really overpaid for this one... i understand that you do it for the video... but normally 150 is way to much for that condition!

Nobody is selling a Xbox series x for 50 bucks even if it's broken
@BackwoodsGarageLLC.
18 сағат бұрын
@@Samuel-eo1pjyou act like the series x is still hard to get and going for $500. It’s a $300 console brand new in the box. This Xbox was $70 max for parts and that’s that
