Unbelievable how far Defqon.1 has come. The first edition in 2003 was just one day and a lot less people. Now you need a comprehensive 15 tips guide to even survive it!!

Another tip: if you broke or couldn't get tickets, go to Walibi Holland instead. It's right next to the terrain and often you can still enjoy the music from a distance because of how great the sound system is!

Another tip : arive as soon as possible, to get a decent camping spot! LEEEEEESGOOO!!

@@Megalodon1986 Closer walking distance to actual festival grounds, far enough away from the backs of certain stages or other DIY setups with lots of foot traffic. Some people also prefer close to bathrooms or close to food options - it depends!

As a supervisor at the bars of Defqon, I want to say that you can not use the refillable water packs from last year. We can't allow that, unfortunately, unless it is really hot outside (something like 30°C+)...

This is insanely dumb though. Not your fault ofc, but still. Was no problems with using my Quechua water bottle at Mysteryland and Parookaville last year and 2019. Why is Defqon so special?🤔

@@JakkeJakobsen I think he talks about the festival ground. The camping area is another ruleset ... As one can easily fill up their water canister at the sanitation of each camping field.

@@slendyshow I do that too. Hopefully they will have that Tapwater installed. This year at Titanium festival there was no explicit tapwater. 1.5 tokens for half a liter of water was okay ... still they earn enough even with tapwater. Sometimes they require to empty the bottles at the entrance between camp and party area.

Thx for the Tips m8, will use them! there will no sleep at night this year, let's see how many new terrorcore tracks slam into the tent!

Expect long walks. 20km+ a day is easy done as the area is rather large ^^"

The shower one is untrue. You get warm showers at the camping for one token (3,80€ 2023). But if you go at night you don’t need to pay. So free warm showers. Best time at 3.30am after the afterparty. Has been like that since my first defqon (2017)

Alc does not produce more urin. U just tend to drink a lot more fluids when "drinking" so this a myth :D But still smart to drink water :) ty for vid mate!

As a German i can say that i can drink myself sober with Heinekken. 😛

A lock won't help a tent, if they want to get in, they'll just cut a slit down the side. Having the lock there is just a signal for them that you have something worth taking in there. I was at a festival & my tent got robbed whilst I was sleeping in it.

Question - are hydration packs and non-country flags allowed?

If you go by car, you'll camp at campsite 5 or 6. Sadly, campsite 4 is reserved for people coming by bus this year
