Another amazing video Rachel! Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I just found your channel and absolutely love it!
Definitely found some new tips I didn't know about before, holding spacebar to drag around elements in a frame is super useful because I always feel frustrated when they leave the frame and I have to rearrange them inside again lol
This was just what I was looking for! Really helps make the design process much faster. Finding these minute practical tips is really hard ! This video really summed them up for me :)
Thak you so so much Rachel! I am a beginner and this is making the learning curve much less steep. Thanks again!
Got some excellent tips that I've never seen before. Thanks, Rachel🥺❤ You did a great job.

Very very thank you!!! Rachel
Finally I know how to properly resize the SVG icons. What I usually did is change the stroke size based on how much I scale it, a lot of weird maths happening. 😂
Thank you so much, Rachel. Love the tips alot!

This is so great and super insightful! I’m actually in the process of redesigning my case studies for my current portfolio. I noticed your tabs on the left didn’t have any solutions, would you suggest adding solutions? Also where is a good place to add any prototypes? Thanks!!

Hey, Rachel! Thanks for your insights - I love your videos! A quick question. What macbook model would you recommend for a beginner in ui ux design? What are the minimum requirements? I’m planning to buy one but not sure which one to choose. Thanks!
Hi Rachel! I just discovered your channel and I'm really enjoying your content! Thank you! I wanted to ask what the difference between reset all overrides vs reset instance is? Actually I'm not sure why but I don't see an option for "reset instance" in my desktop Figma on my Windows 10 laptop. Anyways, any help would be great, thanks! :)
Thank you!!
Time to try out Figma again. Great work Rachel !!

Hello Rachel! I'm a new subscriber of yours and trying to study UI/UX design with the help of your videos. I just wanted to ask how you've been doing the Tip #13? I can't seem to move the object without it coming out of frame. Is there any other method to do this? Thank you! :)

4:28 Difference between Flatten and Outline Path options demoed, is that flatten combines everything into one layer while outline does not. Otherwise they both do the same thing. They convert higher level objects down to vector paths. Like editable text no longer is editable instead it becomes a vector path of what the text looked like when it was converted.

Hi Rachel, thankyou so much for these amazing tips. I have been trying to do the spacebar tip you mentioned, to keep the elements inside of the frame, its just not working for some reason, as soon as i hit spacebar, the element freezes and i cannot move it. Is there something i am doing wrong? Thankyou :)

Dear Rachel, How did you put plugins in your search engines? when i press CMD + P and i search iconify, it says "no matches" is it downloadable ?
@rachelhow
Жыл бұрын
Hey Kevin, yes - you need to download the plugin on Figma first. My bad for not making it clearer in the video!
Many of the shortcuts not working at my end. Please help
How do you select multiple elements on the artboard?

On Figma, select multiple items while holding 'Shift' key. Hope it helps, Rashman!

when i search for the plugin with ctrl+p i don't found iconify or any other plugin do you have premium or something ?
@rachelhow

Ah, perhaps it's because you don't have it installed. You can search for it by hitting 'Shift' + 'i' button inside Figma.
I don't know why, many shortcut which you showed - that doesn't work on my pc. Are you using figma web or figma software version?

If I could make a recommendation, I'd suggest labeling the sections of the video by what tip you're showing vs a TIP # so folk can go back and forth through the video to find certain steps
