They use to have a distribution agreement with Disney( Touchstone Pictures ) until 2016. Now they have a distribution agreement with Univeral Pictures ( NBC Universal ) . So maybe that's where they got it from?

3:26. It was later in the 30s and had to do with the finical part of the studio and the strike. Walt went on a "good ambassador" tour and left Roy to deal with it cause he was overloaded.

I wish Walt Disney was still alive. He would be more rich than Kim k, and he would make lots more movie❤️ Rip Walt Disney.

Walt Disney would be proud of where his company is today. In my opinion, the 3D animations are really good. Know they are literally remaking a lot of Disney films live action.

The Lion King was released in 1994, 28 years *after* Walt died. The Lion King wasn’t even conceptualized until about 1990, so it wasn’t a movie Walt had started or even proposed. Also, although Walt did purchase the land Walt Disney World was built on, he never intended for there to be more than one park. Most of the land was going to be used to build a city and the facilities to run it. All of the companies the Disney Company owns are from decades after his death. Walt himself only partially owned Walt Disney Productions (with his brother, Roy), and wholly owned WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering) and RETLAW, the company that owned and operated the Disneyland Railroad and Monorail. I will give credit, however, for acknowledging the “Nazi ties” and explaining the truth behind them. It is one of the most common misconceptions about Walt.

Kung Fu Panda was made by DreamWorks Pictures SKG, The Secret Life of pets was made by Illumination Mac Guff, and Finding Dory was made by Pixar Studios. Although Walt Disney Pictures does own Pixar as of 2007, but the Finding Nemo universe was originally conceived by John Lasseter at Pixar.

yeah uhhh I already know all of these :> I kinda wished you mentioned his old live action Alice cartoons, or talked about seeing a few frames of moving pictures when he was 13. Also, Walter and his other friend, Walter (both had the same name) cosplayed as Charlie Chaplin since they had wanted to become actors. However, when Disney had seen animation for the first time, it was all he could think about. I’m a Disney fanatic, so I could mention MANY more facts, but here’s some to satisfy your needs.

This video is titled "15 Things You Didn't Know About Walt Disney". The Lion King was released in 1994. Walt Disney was long dead by then. So if somebody sued Disney about the hyenas, it had nothing to do with Walt Disney. Same thing with #15. Walt Disney didn't buy any of those companies. He's been dead since 1966.

He is a true inspiration.Those that said he was a slave driver just didn't have any drive. They were jealous of his money that is all. He wasn't perfect he would be himself and get upset and show emotion, b\c he cared and had a vision that needed to be fulfilled. He was a genius full of imagination and creativity.

I’ve studied Walter Elias Disney extensively and though much of what is explained here is true, some of it simply isn’t. Lily for example wasn’t a cartoonist. She painted the cells after they were already drawn. That’s how they met. There are additional inaccuracies. For a KZread channel claiming to be for the shakers and the movers, you failed to do your research.

Even Walt says it started with a mouse, Oswald may have been one of the first creations from Walt but he did not define and start a renowned company like Mickey did. Plus if you're going to mention Oswald (as whom it started with) then that also be correct as one of the earliest creations from Walt were the Alice live action cartoons he made.

I came here thinking “try me”, But I already knew 3, 5, 7, 9, 12 and 15. Number 13 isn’t true, actually some of Walt’s animators had confidence in the making of Snow White.

Lesson learned: If you're a workaholic dreamer and you wanna live longer DONT SMOKE !!! Health is still the most important ! I'll keep that in mind 😜

No he was sitting on a bench in Griffith Park in California watching his Daughters on the Merry go round. He thought it would nice to have a place parents could ride with their kids instead of watching. The Small World ride was debuted at the Worlds Fair. Then went into Disneyland.
