@@JennWest-Liberty Thanks. I didn't see that before. That is Kera Knightly at 0:30. No wonder Kera played as Natalie's character Padmé look alike.body double in Star Wars The Phantom Menace. They definitely resemble.

She's a true inspiration. I love her so much.

Natalie Portman refused to go to Israel in 2019 to collect an award as a protest against the treatment of the Palestinians by the Israeli government. They won't tell you that on this list but good on her for that!

Yes! She can positively do anything and rock at it! Absolutely loved her performance as Marty in Beautiful girls... the first time I witnessed her natural talent... sky's the limit for her. Just as in the words of the lead actor in that film... whatever she does... she will simply be awesome.

Fact number 6 has been blown way out of proportion. The prequels didn’t almost ruin her career, she attended Harvard between 1999-2003. Also, she was cast in many big movies while the prequels were still coming out.

So this is the lady who portrayed Padme Amadala and Anne Boleyn. I'm glad I got to know her a little more through this video.

Simply put; A fabulous woman and actor.

I am a huge fan of Natalie Portman, a super talented, beautiful & incredibly intelligent soon to be 40 year old woman. I find that her acting range is far & wide. I have watched a lot of her movies, both past & present& every performance I have seen her give is superb. I have done my homework on her & 1 of the areas I have honed in on is the fact she is a vegan & has been for many years. I am a full fledged vegetarian & have been 1 for years. She has always promoted her self as 1 who lives a healthy lifestyle. I wonder about that after watching her chain smoke real cigarettes in Jackie as documented by her in a few articles that I read about how she prepped before making Jackie & in the actual filming of it. She also smoked quite heavily in Planetarium. When she talked about why she went for real vs. fake cigarettes, she said that it is difficult to make the fake ones look real while smoking them. She has also smoked in some of her other movies as well. Jackie & Planetarium were both made not long before she had her 2nd child in 2017. She certainly looked very comfortable as a smoker in both movies...as if she is an everyday smoker. One thing that is true of vegans is vegans don't smoke. Smoking & being a vegan are supposed to be foreign to each other. Additionally, Natalie, a person who has frowned at smoking in the past, can't possibly be out there promoting & living a healthy lifestyle on the one hand while chain smoking real cigarettes on the other as Natalie as did in Jackie & perhaps other movies as well. I wonder if she is a smoker in her everyday life while purporting not to be....I certainly hope that she isn't. What a disappointment if she is.

I think she should do both if that is her desire! Often people prioritize one or another thing, but the truth is you do not have to prioritize. If you want to do them both, do them.

I think it's cool that her character in where the heart is mentions wanting to own a home that overlooks the ocean and whaddya know she actually did that in real life

I don't think it was bad acting in Star Wars, I think she just wanted more adult or intelligent type roles to play and Star Wars was not about that. I never watched many of her movies post Star Wars because of that. She was great at just being a pretty fun loving girl, too bad we didn't get to see more of that.
