I believe you missed one of the most important facts about Morocco which it is the only producer and exporter of ARGAN OIL, used for cosmetic products world wide and also for food and the argan tree grows only in this country, precisely in regions around Agadir and Essaouira. P.S: French isn't a mothertongue language in Morocco, the official and main languages of moroccans are arabic and amazigh, french is mostly used for business and professional activities.

I just came back from Morocco for a 2 week vacation, 4 days ago. I am officially under spell of this beautiful country as i can't stop thinking about it until now. When i say "beautiful", it's not just because of the amazing landscape and weather the country has to offer; the word refers to many different aspects. The hospitality, the people, the simple way of life, the language, the food, the natural resources, the tea, the herbs, the oranges, the the the, OH EVERYTHING!!! 4 days back in my own country, and i can't wait for my next visit to Morocco. Love love love Morocco!!!!

We're not part of Europe we are just geographically close to it, and we are bilingual in French, it is not our native tongue :) Arabs influenced Andalucia, Spain because they invaded it way before, so Spain did not influence Morocco, it's the other way around. Extra facts: 1) Morocco has few of the best, most luxurious hotels in the world, among which the iconic super luxe La Mamounia Hotel. 2) Morocco is the only grower and producer of Argan oil. 3) The first ever African, muslim, female to ever win an olympic medal (a gold one) is Moroccan, her name is Nawal El Moutawakil. 4) The greatest middle distance runner of all time is Moroccan: Hicham El Guerrouj 5) Yves Saint Laurent owned a house in Marrakech, it is still there and it is part of Les Jardins Majorelle, a breathtaking site with botanical gardens. 6) Morocco is a key destination for Kite Surfing, we have perfect beaches in Dakhlah and Essaouira.

Why is it so difficult to just embrace it's an African Country?!! My goodness I really like this channel but your insistence here to disassociate Morocco with its continent (Africa) is very disheartening...

Wrong south Moroccan don't speak French, south Moroccan Sahraoui and Berber speak Spanish because they was occupied by Spain and have no common hisory with French , just like north Moroccan. Only central Morocco , Marakech, Agadir and East Morocco have French influence because French occupied these parts of Morocco

For the record, Casablanca the film wasn't based on Casablanca the city. And it wasn't filmed in Morocco, but in a Hollywood studio 6,000 miles away.

I saw the US Embassy' anniversary showing of Casablanca at the Cinema Rif in Tangiers this year, and the discussion from the film historian was very interesting. I was surprised to learn the film had not been filmed in Morocco, and that "Casablanca" really should have been "Tangiers" as that was where all the spies were hanging out during the war. Rick's Cafe Americano certainly is a big tourist attraction though.

Thanks for sharing the wonders of our beloved country. That being said, you seriously need to learn the prononciation of things you talk about. It honestly made the video extremely difficult to watch. "A-rabs" really ?? Who the hell says A-rabs ? And that's just one of MANY. Come on, you seem to be putting a lot of effort in these videos, don't let something like that ruin it. Also, you talk about the famous Moroccan wine "Boulaouane vin gris" as you said it. "Gris" means GREY in french if you didn't care to ask. How is a grey a rosé ?? Anyway !
