LOL I was about to say. As soon as she pronounced it wrong, I paused it and started writing this comment. Won't even go further with the video. The mispronunciation reflects poor research. Who knows the facts are maybe not factual.

And here are 2 things YOU didn't know about HERMES: 1. The correct pronunciation is AIR-MESS 2. In Dumas the S is silent.

And please don't be surprised, they pronounced most of the brands incorrectly in this series lol. But you cant help it; some pronunciations are even simply impossible for a non speaker of that language.

It would be nice if your narrators could pronounce words correctly. Seems very out of place on a luxury channel.

It’s driving me INSANE that your not saying it correctly. Also: the most expensive bag sold went for half a million....& the birkin was born because she didn’t have a bag that fit everything she needed & used a basket which spilled while trying to stow it overhead. Not because “her kelly was too small”....

Hermes is actually a German name and the creator of the brand was actually a German harness maker who moved to France to make harnesses for the French royals.

The story of the birkin is incorrect. She met him on a flight and he built on a bag that was used once before on an airsickness bag. She didn’t say her Kelly was too small. She didn’t have one. She was using a straw bag and once she complained about it, Dumas then sketched out the bag for her.

I'm not even a stickler for designer pronunciation. But that was pretty annoying.

Please, please, please....if you are going to feature these luxury brands, learn how to pronounce their names properly. It is an insult to the company and to their many loyal clients that you can't even take the time to learn how to pronounce the brand and their products properly.

It is so painful to listen to her repeatedly flop on the pronunciation so frequently!!! They did so much research on the facts but it was too much to google Hermès!

There's no "zzzz" in Hermès. The -s is pronounced "sss" not "zzz".

The H from Hermes is silent. Just FYI.
