I am watching football since Maradona’s era..almost 35 years untill today and for me Ronaldinho is the best football player has ever walked on Earth. his complete game was perfection, he didn't have a weak point in his game..everything you can imagine and want on the football field, Ronaldinho did it with such ease and magic that it's unreal and I don't believe that a player will ever appear again its qualities.

I agree btw...but I don't think your conclusion is inline with mine. It's not that the qualities wont appear for me . . its that they wont be encouraged. The game is getting more and more system focused to get the most out of players who couldn't have laced R10's boots. Ronaldinho was strong enough to bounce John Terry, provide passes no one even considered the angles of and routinely humiliated the very best players in the very best competitions. These days you're crucified for being flamboyant, ridiculed for not playing simple passes and physically gifted players are encouraged to play simply.

Ronaldinho was absolutely great, but he's not even close to peak Messi. Ronaldinho was more of a shower, Messi just went out there and scored points at will.

Friends and I were watching this guy in awe every weekend between 2003-2006. He was literally unbelievable. Him and Zidane are nowadays so underrated.

I remember what he did against Chelsea on the edge of the box. The stats is what people remember at the moment, but in years to come we'll ask who and what events changed how we approach things now and in the future. R10 was one of those genius minds that reinvented the game time and time again. Thank you Ronaldinho for sharing your God Given talent with us and generations to come.

But Fabio capello wasn’t wrong when he told baggio “there is no place in modern football for poets” . Dude was a freestyler who got a contract and he most certainly did not change the game

@@kytaem he did. His impact was profound. The way he played was exceptional he was doing things on the pitch that was out of the ordinary. The no look pass, free kicks on the floor. Controlling the ball and passing the ball with his BACK! He was the modern day Maradonna. I can tell you never played football just watched. I played to a professional level and back then we all were influenced by him. By the time he was at Milan he was finished, he was fat. So no surprise. When I speak about R10 I’m always on about his career with Barcelona and Brazil, everything after don’t count
