Hard to overstate the brilliance of the pairing of the band with Nigel Godrich, whose "basement" this is and who has been the steady producer throughout all the years of Radiohead albums. One thing I really appreciate about Radiohead/Godrich albums is just how good they sound, how effortlessly they seem to make all the instruments stand out and highlight the work of these incredibly talented musicians.

Lyrics from Genius: How come I end up where I started? How come I end up where I went wrong? Won't take my eyes off the ball again You reel me out, then you cut the string How come I end up where I started? How come I end up where I went wrong? Won't take my eyes off the ball again First you reel me out and then you cut the string You used to be alright What happened? Did the cat get your tongue? Did your string come undone? One by one One by one It comes to us all It's as soft as your pillow You used to be alright What happened? Et cetera, et cetera Fads for whatever Fifteen steps, then a sheer drop How come I end up where I started? How come I end up where I went wrong? Won't take my eyes off the ball again You reel me out, then you cut the string
When the Thom Yorke says the last "cut the strings" part in song Jonny Greenwods plays deep and f*ck depressed riff. And there is why ı loves so much this live. Damn...

It's inconceivable to me that this has so few views over the past 2 years. Thom Yorke is like a god. He began a career in music in the 90's (80's even, maybe?), and while many of his peers have become sort of antiquated, his talent and understanding of his craft has only grown and grown and grown, and his music feels more relevant with each passing year. It's been beautiful to experience. He is truly an Artist with a capital A. We seem to only get a handful of them every generation...if we're lucky.

Everyone in the band is offering the best... and the best is what we got....
The studio version and the live version is literally THE SAME! THE SAME! Magical!
One of the best Bass players out there!
I always preferred this performance than the studio version. Both are good though! I just love the sound of this, combined with Thom's funny dance moves

-and while I agree that the ending is inspired, once again I am just… utterly enthralled by the beginning, where you can SEE the musicians winding themselves into the weft of the developing song.. fascinating or, in the old sense of the word, awesome
I love this band
This has to be the most unique album I have heard in a bit. I love this track vocal, guitar, drum, and mostly everything wise. Such a nice track. ❤
This has got to be the best album I have ever heard in my life. I listen to every genre imaginable but this is still groundbreaking in 2024 to me. It has such a unique, chaotic sound that it reels me in every time without fail and makes me feel like I'm in a fever dream I never want to wake up from.
That guitar act as peacemaker or a time travel machine.
Incredible performance.

I love music but I have things to confess. I was convinced for a bit that Colin Firth was the drummer of Radiohead!!
I just heard this music and WTF HAPPENED TO MY EARS? IT'S NOT 15 STEPS, MORE LIKE 15 *'GREAT LEAPS'*
Well, I loved the song, the music, the singing, and the words. I just don't understand the singer's strange movements. Does he make these gestures with his hand and head because he is engrossed with the song? . Or maybe I didn't understand because I'm Egyptian and not used to seeing an American singer
