What Sapporo has to offer to travelers can be summed up in 3 words: snow, seafood, and smile. Snow because Sapporo, Japan's northernmost capital, is best enjoyed in the winter months. Seafood because as Hokkaido's largest city, much of the prefecture's ocean bounty ends up here. And smile, because in a destination as magical as Sapporo, it's something you just can't help doing.
In this video, we're sharing with you some of the best places to visit and things to do in Spectacular Sapporo!
This video was shot before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now may not be a good time to travel but it's always a great time to plan a trip! But note that costs, hours and availability might have changed due to the pandemic, so contact the respective establishment directly for more updated info.

As a young man stationed with the US Air Force in Japan 1969-72, I was fortunate to get to see the snow festival in Sapporo. The ice sculptures were amazing, especially when lit at night.

My father was in AF. I was fortunate to have been born in such a beautiful country.

Hi, will need your help to advise if it is possible to spend 2 days in Sapporo to cover the whole itinerary in this video? I am travelling with my family of 15, 1 senior, 4 teenagers and 10 adults.

Will you be able to advise the travelling distance between all these locations? Where we should start and end, I am planning to engage a coach driver but we need to direct him accordingly to our itinerary

Hi Kim! 'Yung mga within the city center madali lang i-DIY lalo pag malapit sa train station. If 7 days, pwede ka na ring magvisit sa ibang Hokkaido cities/destinations! Check out JR Hokkaido Rail Pass if mag-DIY ka.

Nice content....could have been better if you just make simple effort checking how to pronounce SAPPORO correctly, the same goes to other Japanese cities....It seems you have your own way of pronouncing them. We Filipinos usually don't have problems with this. Peace!
this list is very basic lol
