Love how these guys present iPhone tips and tricks. I learn some things and happy when I already know another. But one thing that always makes me go 😖 using the back button to go back to the main page (something android users love to make fun of iphoners about cause we have to “keep tabbing back”) you can hold the back button and quick go back to any previous page in the drop down menu. Makes going back to the main settings screen easy.

Just wanted to thank you for moving through the menu directions slower, and for slowing the pace of your verbal delivery too. It makes a big difference and is very appreciated! A couple days after I saw this video, I watched another of your videos from about 6 months ago that addressed a particular issue I was interested in. HUGE difference in both iPhone menu AND speaking speed (way too fast on both, even though I’m pretty familiar navigating iphone menus). I could really tell the difference in this latest video and wanted to let you know I appreciate your taking viewer feedback into consideration and adjusting your presentation. Much appreciated! The slower pace is not only easier to follow for the it’s less stressful

You can always slow the video yourself by changing the playback speed.

I became a systems engineer in 1990 worked in Manhattan for 9 years then after the first attempt to destroy the WTC I left NY. Took a job in NC in RTP working for Bay Networks. Moved to Charlotte NC working for brokerage firms. Did a ton of training my younger counterparts and know something about how to effectively train people but I’m now retired. You guys are very, very good! Got my first IPhone 2 years ago and my hats off to you both. Very informative and I’ll recommend your videos going forward keep up the good work!👍👍👍👍

well done. I have been familiarizing for the last few months on apples lack of transparency and this is perfect. Now how 'bout that web kit and system services. if anyone thinks this is way too confusing the andriod is even worse with so many burried vague settings turned on. this is starting to get ridiculous really.

Android for ever ... Since the iphone came out I first had the Samsung instinct. The first non apple smartphone. Anyway you guys are awesome. I am figuring out apple so fast watching these videos. Samsung took away SD cards and keep making huge phones. I like small phones so I went and got a se model works great

God bless you two. I've never hated a cell phone so much the day I listened to my wife and I capitulated and bought an iPhone 13 and no longer have android. As soon as this lousy contract expires, I'm going back to android and I'm never looking at an iPhone or even want to hear the word iPhone ever again what an intrusive piece of garbage it is. Your tips may have helped me get the strength to make it through until this contract expires.

Do you guys ever find that the reading list just doesn't download? Even with that setting on it seems unreliable and doesn't "just work". It's especially problematic if you are saving it from a different device (ie iPad to iPhone or Mac). Any tips for improving that reliability?

I was watching this vid tonight. As usual excellent content. So good, earlier today I signed up for the Payette membership, and then joined Discord, both required to access the .pdf's you have added. And I linked my KZread to Discord, also required. And then - nothing told me how to find the .pdf's that were the point of the entire exercise. Feeling a little cranky - if people are not Discord users, this is a whole lot to ask. Left me feeling like I actually handed my privacy to discord. And left with an empty hand as I could not locate the .pdf's. Sigh.

Hi there! Sometimes it takes some time for discord's API to register that users are members - I checked to see if you're in as a member and it looks like you are! Check to see if you can see the PDFs now and I'll help in any way I can if you can't now

For the 'privacy preserving ad measurement' setting, Apple moved it. You have to go to the bottom of the screen, tap 'advanced', then you will see it.

Before version iPadOS 17.2; my safari played audio tracks on websites continuously in the background or on locked screen. After updated to iPadOS 17.2, it is impossible to play that way. Could you pls advise me of any solutions? Thanks. (iPad Air 5th M1)

But I now have an A52 6GB 5G and the Developer Options don't seem to be set up the same at all! I go into my location settings & check on all the apps running in the background & it seems that I can't turn off more than half of them. I'm getting myself confused! Pause the video and rewind with the little rewind circles. Thats what I do! The rest of us don’t want to fall asleep if it is too slow.

That auto fill doesnt always work, at least not on some sites. I do see the info like my email but when I click it it doesnt always auto fill it, so I have to type it manually. But on some sites it works for me. Just I find many times it doesnt. As for close tabs I have currently 61 tabs open and I dont close them down, the tabs shows a preview for the the website and with the name, but doesnt load the full website until you click on the tab. So it's not really gonna drain much, at least nothing to worry about. :)

I am the ultimate tab hoarder. I have maxed out the amount of tabs on two separate occasions. Yes, closed out 1,000 tabs at once and eventually managed to get back to 500 a second time. And I’m talking 500 open tabs in private browsing and 500 in regular browsing mode. On a daily basis, Ive got over 100 tabs in my safari regular and over 100 private.

I find your videos very informative. I have a new iPhone 14 pro. When talking on the phone I am having a problem that the phone screen is freezing and I can’t switch to speaker or even hung up on call from the screen. I have to press the shut down button to disconnect the call. Seems to be a problem with all 14 models. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on fixing this.
