What a great list of engineering marvels. Its no surprise that the Steinway Tower is #1. I can't wrap my head around the minimum amount of space needed to built this monolith. Its truly impressive and one day I will see it. Great post, thanks for sharing.

I think Dubai, China, and other Asian countries have taken this title with their futuristic designs, flare, and lighting effects.....I didn't even know that Kuwait and Vietnam have become so developed ....wow! I need to visit Dubai and Malaysia fr fr American city skylines have now become dated with box-like shapes in terms of design and elevation etc

@@matthewgarcia1499 well most American skylines were constructed during the 1920s, 30s, 70s and 80s way before cities like Shanghai, Hong Kong, dubai were even developed. Asian cities have the benefit of 21st century technology and engineering improvements. However, cities like New York and Chicago are still impressive on a global scale.

I love that Kuwait City tower especially, I met someone from Kuwait once and she told me you can literally fry an egg on the floor out there because it's so blinkin' hot! That's the problem with all these Arabic countries, they may have the best skyscrapers but you will get fried alive in the solar radiation if you're not prepared for it.

Beautiful buildings, but what a pity, that de 3th building in the thumbnail was not in the video, although it is my favorite skyscraper...the Grand Lisboa in Macau.

This look like a good building but not safe for me

Impressive, but many resemble artist’s concept fantasies which were given to engineers with the memo, “ you figure out how to keep it from falling”. I expect to see some of these on “grist engineering disasters” videos. The steps are: 1) architects concept, 2) Herculean engineering efforts to comply, 3) Cost cutting meddling by the bean counters. 4) second guessing the specifications by contractors. 5) Collapse.

This voice reminds me of simple history same voice lol 🤣

Philippines has two rising towers i tnk taller than Merdeka Check out Tower Of Power ICONIC Tower there is in cebu supertall towers and in Manila reclamation projects plenty of supertall towers taller than jeddah tower
