@Joebb3 Games I'm 56 and somewhere around the time when I was about nine I remember a flying Ford Pinto that joined to a Cessna 337 Skymaster. The idea never really took off in the public's eye but the car/plane did fly, briefly. Choosing a Pinto though, with it's reputation for having an exploding gas tank, certainly wouldn't have been my first choice. Yup, it seems like flying cars have always been just 5 years away from being commercially produced, however I believe it's days have come and gone. The operating costs alone had to have been a big contributing factor to their unpopularity, not to mention the initial purchase price. Starting at age 5 we owned a C-170A that we flew off our property and my dad and I would go somewhere, anywhere every weekend to have lunch, explore or just to chase coyotes on the ground. I distinctly remember him telling me that the cheapest part of owning an aircraft was buying it, operating it was the expensive part. Adding a car to the equation might possibly raise those expenses 1.5 - 3 times the amount. Except for a very few individuals, I doubt there's any practical advantage of having a flying car these days. Full size quadcopters are the vehicles that might be in our future. It's still an aircraft falling under the FAA's guidelines, which translates to more stringent requirements for licensing and costly annual inspections. I suppose it'll be like private pilots that own their own plane today. Those that can afford one will have one, those that can't will either rent one or find a new hobby. Just my opinion...

Since u people don’t know how to make real flying vehicles we’re going to have to do this in the alternative media. The Interest for secrecy really fall into three broad areas. The biggest became the technological and scientific end of this. Once we retrieve back in the 30s, 40s, and 50s several of these extraterrestrial vehicles and begin to study them. We combine that knowledge with knowledge we already had because remember we had some people like T.Townsend and the Biefeil-brown effect who were studying anti gravity quite independent of this issue back in the 20s, 30s and 40s. But when their information got combined with study in these space craft, they figured out ‘oh, this is how they’re working!’ and they realized, it’s the end of oil. It’s the end of the need for coal. It’s the end of the combustion engine the internal combustion engine. It’s the end of transmission lines for electricity. Because the energies that these space ships are using; what people call ufos, we don’t call them.No one in the business calls them ufos; they are no unidentified and they don’t fly. These objects are extracting energy from the fabric of space, ok? around, not outer space, but the fabric of space. And in fact even the early Lockheed and Northrop experimental space ships that we have built; and were talking 1950s and 60s; were called ‘Flux liners’ because they were pulling energy from the Quantum Flux field. It was called ‘Quantum Flux Field’ that’s in the space in this room. And every cubic centimeter of space, for example, in this room, has enough energy to run the earth for a day. It’s a huge amount of energy and so once this was really figured out by the mid 50s; long time ago they knew that this would be the end of the oil cartels and the international financial petrodollar system and a huge amount of the industrialists would then have to change their whole way of operating because, think about it; what happens when every village in India or Sub-Saharan Africa can have a device that looks like a generator? and it’s extracting energy from this Quantum Flux Field? suddenly, you have an economic growth all over the world and this is a wonderful thing! It would be the end of poverty, but it would also be the end of economic hegemony, were Europe and America, with 600 million people dominate the whole global economy, so this is a huge Geopolitical problem. And the issue isn’t just about money; it’s about power! who has the power; how earth is run; who is running earth. And then you have another issue and that is there are people who view the world as they understand it and in America we have a saying ‘if you wear rose-colored glasses, you see everything and the world is rose colored, but if you’re wearing glasses that are conflict colored, colored with a short of paranoid militaristic view of the world, you’re going to view these visitors as a threat and your going to respond to them as threat. Even though there’s no evidence that they are threat.’ I want to be very clear on this: there’s no objective evidence that anyone has been harmed by these visitors and there’s certainly no evidence that they’re a threat to us. There’s a lot of evidence, however, that they’re concerned about our threat to the peace and the order of space. Why? because our technological capabilities and our weapons, have surpassed our social and spiritual development. Clearly! and we are at that stage in the evolution of a global civilization, where our science and technology has gotten way out there, but our social and spiritual is lagging and this is that danger zone. And earth is in this danger zone now! and they know this, these visitors from civilizations, other planets, know this! so, unfortunately, I think that they have had great concern about our nuclear facilities. We know this! we have colonels and lieutenant colonels, who are at the strategic air command and the atomic energy commission, who have testified at DisclosureProject.org that every single one of our nuclear weapon storage areas have been visited by these ET space crafts because they were obviously concerned and in the Soviet Union, Also in Russia. We have spoken to the people with the KGB and their space command and so it’s clear that they have that concern, but that doesn’t mean that they’re hostile towards earth. I think they’re concerned about human hostility. Remember: this is not particularly good news for u. It’s good new for humanity and for the earth and the environment, but there’re only a few hundred people in corporations, who really control the world economy. And this information would change forever their grip on that power. Now, they would still have a lot of money, but it’s not about money. You and I think of money, ‘can I afford to put my son or daughter to college?’ or buy a home, or what have u. They’re viewing it as power, of geopolitical control. So it’s a power issue and this would change geopolitics forever

Can anyone else remember Bob Cummings and his flying car 🚗 back in the 1950s and 60s? It was a compact sedan with a trailer that comprised the wings, tail and propeller. He would probably drive to an airstrip, unhook the trailer, drive the car around to rear of the trailer and back into the garage like structure. Locking the car into the structure, extending the wings and connecting the propeller to the power takeoff takes only a few minutes and he is ready to take off. The performance was almost as good as a Piper Cub, but eliminated the need for another vehicle.

It seems to me that having the passenger/powerhouse above the props on the motorcycle types drastucally increases instability and instant power requirements needed to overcome same. Although it may also decrease quick/sport manouverablity. At this point flight duration seems a more important necessity. not to mention that a hanging cockpit where landing gear could attach creates a smaller footprint for those tight parking spots :). This has always been the case with any aircraft. Any comments?

My Dear Sweet Friends, I know that the tech already exists, but we must except the fact that in order to have anything close to the "Jetsons" type of flying cars we will have to build our cities around the vehicle! The vehicle that I have in mind works in conjunction with magnetic repellence. The roads will probably be of some sort of metal. The buildings magnetic compositions in this city will be tailored to prevent accidents. Each vehicle would be able to travel many miles on a teaspoon of gas. No road erosion, and little wear and tear on the vehicle are a few of the advantages.

The time saved by a supersonic aircraft in not very meaningful when one considers the door to door time required for an international flight. Transportation to and from the airport, the early arrival to the airport required for security checks, waiting time on the runway due to delays and more, make the shorter flight time quite negligible, and probably not worth the extra cost.
