Biggest lost to snooker was Paul Hunter, he would have been multiple world champion and gone down in history as 1 of the best that’s graced our sport. Sadly missed and still remembered as a true fighting champion

Ding's emotional response was due to his mother's death JUST BEFORE the tournament. The memory of support from his mother for his early snooker career brough him tears! May her rest in peace!

I remember when Paul Hunter passed away when I was living in Leeds and used to play at Northern Snooker centre. RIP legend.

Trust me if Paul Hunter is alive, He would be the Greatest Player of All time, RIP Legend

Losing anyone is sad but Paul was so lovely and young and was doing so great , that’s was a real shock

I can’t imagine the death of Paul Hunter, believe or not, we are sure you will be the next master of snooker, RIP

Selby is one of the greatest players… I love Ronnie, but I’m sure that players like selby, trump etc made his legend shine even more. Selby is a 4 times world champions plus all the others ranking titles.. he’s gold for snooker 🎱

Selby is a great player but I want to be entertained , not in his locker.

Paul Hunter's death has similarities to the late, great NFL Safety Sean Taylor with respect to their ages and immense talent which was a bright comer moving far too fast.
