That spiked flail @8:43 is the Witch King of Angmar's mace from Lord of the Rings
Kinda surprised there was no mention of Gladius, Claymore, Kopis, Falcata, Dadao, steel Tomahawk Axe, Danish War Axe, or Sodegarami. The improved versions of the Gladius were really good at thrusting into someone's stomach and really messing up the insides. Claymore Swords were once referred to as slaughter swords. Kopis and especially Falcata were quite capable of lacerating wounds. Dadao was really good at chopping off body parts. Steel Tomahawk were plenty good at lethality. Danish War Axe was likely the strongest Axe at the time it was used. As for Sodegarami; they may have been used more so for defensive purposes, but they could still be used to kill. Not to mention looking really intimidating.
When I saw the title, I thought of the Soviet Union's Katyusha Rocket Launchers from WW2. While the original precursor to those were mentioned, a shame the Katyusha themselves got no real mention.
Wow😅
Why no more real human narrator voice?🤔
