There is a big military hospital here, and we get personnel from all over the world. Our medical complexes probably do more transplants than anywhere else in the world. There are thousands and thousands of young people who went to Iraq after 9/11 and came back home missing limbs. All our forces deserve our respect forever, for having the courage to put their future on the line to keep us safe. No matter what you think of going to war, or whether it's right or wrong, please never just sit by and let anyone denigrate our military. Speak up for your country and the folks that gave their lives so we could live....we should thank them for their sacrifices.

I still haven't seen a robotic prosthetic arm currently that is at that level that you would sacrifice your own arm for. our prospects are still too primitive.

I'm sure within the next 10 years I'm going to do this. I have absolutely no problem with getting rid of all of my limbs and replacing them with mechanical ones

@@PersonausdemAll I mean that being first or second just means you weren't doing anything else and happened to see the notification right away. It just means you were sitting around, usually. By "aim higher", I mean to do something you can actually take pride in, anything, helping your family, making dinner, running errands for someone who needs help, volunteering, studying, planning your future, writing, painting, sports, or even yoga. Being first online is painfully accidental and has no merit to it whatsoever. I want whoever thinks it's some kind of honor to set their sights way higher so they aren't going to spend the rest of their lives glued to a keyboard just to get likes from strangers who don't care....
