I would encourage travelers to set their sights outside of Seoul too, and counter the stranglehold that it has on the country. Believe it or not, there is life outside of the capital city. You've been to Seoul? Have you been to Gwangju, Busan, Mokpo, etc.?
your video is veryyyyy informative, I have watched it all without skipping anything. Thank you so muchhhh

Noted!
Thanks muchly for your info. I've been trying to find a no nonsense guide to travelling South Korea. I'm curious to know why no one talks about the western half of South Korea. I've tried to find some info, there's almost none. I pray I can go in April or May of 2023. I understand your feeling of not going anywhere alone. It's been a life long dream since I was very young. I also met someone many years ago and her family made me want to go even more - crazy dreams ha ha ha. Thanks so much for your info. i will finish your TOURIST info intro👍🙏♥.

from what i recall, there’s not a lot on the western side of Korea unless you want to go to the beach in the countryside. if you are interested in learning more about the different cities in Korea, i would recommend following megan osten, she’s been posting more travel vlogs to other cities aside from seoul/busan. I hope your dream comes true to travel soon!

It really depends on what your itinerary looks like! There are a number of factors you’ll want to consider, but this is what I usually look at - when are the places open? where are they located? what logistically makes sense from where you are staying? am i balancing my days so I’m not over-exerting myself back to back? Hope this helps!

Most places take card if you have a visa/mastercard, but i would recommend getting some cash for the traditional markets. You can usually find the better exchange rates at places in myeongdong :)
