I’m just now catching up on your videos. I was a dancer as a child and honestly, it’s some of my favourite memories. Yesterday, my sister send me a picture of her and I in our dance recital costumes from 1966! I was overjoyed to see this picture because I don’t have any from this time in my life…we were so cute! Lol You ladies have amazing technic. 🩰🎭

You went on pointe at 7 & 8??? It’s really not good for your developing foot bones to do that before age 10!!! Was that at the same studio you dance with now (HHB)? Glad you all seem okay and (relatively) pain free!

What does she mean she never had the option to quit ? if you choose not to dance what are the consequences ? You know you can always be your own person and be whatever you want?

I think when you have put so much time into dance, you don’t want to quit even if you have moments of being frustrated with it. We all know we can quit at any time. Our parents have asked us at points if we wanted to keep going. It takes a lot of time and is expensive. No one is forcing us to dance. (And neither of our parents were dancers.)
