I LOVED this episode!! I actually knew some of the vocabulary from Miss SCHECHTER! I have made her channel, and your channel my ONLY teachers for my Yiddish. I find that if I watch other people the stuff doesn't seem to be as playing or it doesn't seem to be alright and you guys seem to be very very authoritative and I trust both of your knowledge. I tried a schlump that has a channel, FEH, he's a little nebbish and fakatcha. So I threw away my papers I wrote because I write everything down to make flashcards so I can learn both the lessons I get from both of you. I threw all his shit away. MISTA IT VUZ. Zyt gazunt! Your pupil/fan DEWEY L. LINCOLN NEBRASKA...

In the language app Mango languages they call Peanuts fistashkes, though I've also seen the word pistashkes translated as pistachios in an online lyrics chart of lomir zich iberbetn. Does anyone have any insight into why this might be?

"Vechere" comes from Ukrainian which means exactly "dinner/supper" . Please don't "russify" everything that sounds Slavic.
