I don't think we are missing much with Dumbo II and Treasure Planet II, as most Disney direct-to-DVD sequels have an infamy of being bad and not living up to the originals. Btw, I'm sure I saw once Lasseter cancelled all of the DVD sequels because of a reestructuration to focus on computer-animated movies, which gave us Chicken Little, Bolt, etc. Just wanted to add this info! PD: The piece that interested me the most was Bomberman 3DS! Felix the Cat was nice, too! Never new about that one.

Treasure Planet II was actually planned and thought out like the proper sequel it was supposed to be and there is a theory that disney sabotaged Treasure Planet because they had no faith in it and didn't want it to distract from the movies they wanted to push.

Great video! A small correction tho. Klonoa 2 was released on PS2 in 2001. The one released on 2008 for the Wii is but a remake of the first game. There were many games, although most are sort of spin offs, between the second game and the remake tho, but Klonoa Wii is indeed the last game released so far.

Does anyone remember CN's Get 'Em Tommy a short lived web series that was releasing mini-sodes from late 2016 to sometime in 2017? Around 2018 all episodes on CN's videos where set to private and removed from the app, making the series very scarce. So far to my knowledge only three episodes have been reuploaded to KZread

I'm sad that we never got the Klonoa movie. It would've been nice to see some more love towards the franchise.

I am a huge fan of Klonoa and played the first two games. Hearing a possible movie of Klonoa brings back the great memories and story telling along with its fantastic characters! Sadly, it go cancelled, maybe its all a huge dream after all huh?

Wow, I did not know that Ghost Stories has lost episode. This is definitely the biggest interest for me, but I am unsure whether it will surface the ground one day or not. As from my ideas I have idea of cancelled game by Firefly Studios (creators of RTS game Stronghold) called 'Dungeon hero' . It has even teaser video on studios youtube: kzread.info/dash/bejne/kYV90q-fiZa8m5M.html , but that is it, as far as I know. Looked very curious and I remember I was looking for it in early 2010s. Second idea is about what I recently found out: cancelled VN 'Steins;Gate: The Committee of Antimatter' . Curious thingy. I am pretty new to this but if I understood correctly then it is lost media thing too.

The bomberman 3DS game actually has some of its lost models in a tetris game on the 3DS. I think there was like 3 to 4 models found of different bombermen. Also klonoa 2 was only ps2 but there was a planned gamecube port that was far enough in development that Nintendo power reviewed it. You're thinking about the wiimake.

24:00 correction: Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil was released in 2001 for PS2. There were plans to port it to GameCube but it was cancelled. The 2008 game you're thinking of is the Wii remake of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, the first game. Also, there have been various Klonoa spinoffs, most notably the GBA games that play very similarly to 1 and 2. There are also Klonoa Heroes: Densetsu no Star Medal (or "Legendary Star Medal) which is a JP only action RPG released on GBA and Klonoa Beach Volleyball, a PS1 sports game released in Europe and Japan but not America. What's also worth noting is that in September 2019 Bandai Namco filed a trademark for "Klonoa Encore". You may say this is simply for hoarding trademarks but here's the thing: the rerelease of Katamari Damacy Reroll is called Katamari Damacy Encore in Japan. Bandai Namco also filed a trademark for Mr. Driller Drill Land at the same time as the Klonoa Encore trademark, and in 2020 a remaster of Mr. Driller Drill Land was released, which also made it the first time it was released outside of Japan. Recently, the Bandai Namco Nordic Twitter account tweeted about Klonoa and gauged interest in the series, which was overall received positively. I think it's safe to say the dream traveler will return soon. Not exactly lost media, but something I wanted to put up for people interested in the series. I really do hope Klonoa returns, especially since Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil didn't sell well so physical copies are on the pricier side and it's sadly a game that's difficult to emulate.

Klonoa movie would've been great if it wasn't canceled

Good video man. Are you familiar with the first attempt of bringing Batman to the big screen before Tim Burton? Around 1982 or 1983, they were wanting to make a Batman movie starring either Pierce Brosnan, Kurt Russell, Mel Gibson, or Bill Murray as Batman, David Bowie was heavily considered for the Joker, Michael J. Fox or Eddie Murphy as Robin, David Niven as Alfred, William Holden as Commissioner Gordon, and Peter O'Toole as the Penguin. The movie was set to release around 1984 or 1985. I wish more people got to know about it since how great the movie would have been but everyone keeps talking about the trashy Burton movies as well as its cancelled sequels, the cancelled Darren Arenfosky's Batman Year One, Batman vs Superman (2004), etc.

I will forever be mad that Dinosaur Planet got shelved and turned into Starfox Adventures, and for the stupidest reason: Because Nintendo wanted a new Star Fox game. Starfox Adventures is a good game, but it is a bad Star Fox game. It should have stayed as Dinosaur Planet and Nintendo shouldn't have taken the lazy route and co-opted a completely unrelated game.
