Ghost of tsushima was the one for me. I was literally playing all the side missions instead of main quests to enjoy the game for a longer period. I didn't wanted it to end.

It's not over. You can just continue with assassin's creed cuz it has the same checklist open world formula

Its been awhile since i dreamt about a game but RdR2 did it. It took me many starts and stops and let it sit for me to get into it.. but once i did, I was hooked. That game is a true masterpiece.

I highly suggest pushing through that first hour, take that time to learn the controls, like how to take cover and how to aim and all the little things that eventually you wont need to think about. Once you make camp and can go wherever you want, the game really takes off. It is the best game I've ever played. I'm so glad i tried getting through the start of the game for a 6th time. I really hope you take my advice and then come back to this comment in 100 hours or so and tell me how right I was =) enjoy bro

Disco Elysium final cut solves the heavy-text-reading problem. Everything is now read by actors which makes it waaaay better

Disco Elysium is all voice acted fully now, so don't let the text put you off of a great detective game.

For me it was Telltale's Walking Dead. I was so sad when it finally ended. It was such an amazing story.

BOTW, TOTK, RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, fallout 4, death stranding, well at least this is my definition of hollow when it ends.

Brothers a Tale of Two Sons broke me to the bones.

On my 3rd playthrough Did 2 on X 3rd on PC

For me it was God of War Ragnarok. I 100% it and enjoyed it so much I needed more even tho I did everything. I went back and 100% God of War 2018. I never did that for any game before.

Man, I gave up on almost all of these that I started. That said, Prey is one of the most underrated games I’ve ever played. I’m saving Outer Wilds for later because I know when I play it I’ll be blown away.

Uninstalled Witcher 3 about 10 times. Kept trying to see what all the hype was about made it through the game finally, still didn’t see what was good about it .

In all fairness red dead is zero fun once you figure out how limited it is . Especially if you play a second time .

Stray is one of my favorite games of the last 10 years, right up there with Elden Ring. It was such an immersive, uplifting and escapist experience, and had so much heart.

Just heard of Katana Zero today and it’s out on iOS through Netflix for free!

for me it has been ff7 rebirth. Just a rollercoaster of a story and it left us yearning for more.

I would add The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. I did not want to leave that world!!!

Last of Us 2 made me sad while playing, couldn't wait for it to end, lol. I was so sad when I ended FF7 Rebirth, literally took a lot out of me to delete it from my PS5 after I was done with it.

I’ve watched a lot of these sort of videos regarding “great games”. And every video has a voice over that sounds just like AI, but this actually feels organic? Like I’m having a hard time figuring out if the commentary is AI, or an actual human voice. I guess I’m just so used to hearing AI🤷🏻‍♂️ But anyways, amazing fucking video dude. Even if the voice over is AI, but I would be pleasantly surprised if it’s not💪🏼

Majority of these I didn't play. Got bored of rdr 2 like an hour in. Arkham city and katana zero slaps though. Also titanfall 2. I was sad when it ended. "Protocol 3" if you know you know.

Since AAA games traded soul for graphics, indie games are what we have to turn to. But I will say, Ghost of Tsushima is one phenomenal game! Hope we get a sequel next year 🤞

In terms of the story, no. But I think you'll fully enjoy it if you play the previous games first, since you'll miss how each character is connected with each other.

@@Maggpiee Okay...so it does have some redeeming qualities, right? That doesn't make it garbage. I consider the first game to be one of the best games ever made and The Last of Us Part II an 8.5. Overall, it is a pretty big step down but I never thought it was "garbage" My biggest issue was the pacing. We spent so long in Seattle and barely went anywhere else. Some of the dialogue annoyed me but I didn't have as many problems with the story as other people.
